My wife and I are planning a trip from Butterworth, Eastern Cape, South Africa along the coast up to Mozambique as far as Tete in northern Mozambique then cut across to the Great Ruins in Zimbabwe and then down back to to Butterworth in a kinda straight line via Pretoria, and Bloemfontein. We have a double cab 4x4 and two seats open. We plan to camp, wild camp and couch surf (low costs) We also have an extra tent available. All food and drink will be for your own account and we share the costs of the fuel and accommodation ( if we stay in a paying camp site). We will be tryinng to do as much offroad travelling as possible and kinda stay away from tourist traps and cities as much as possible.

Check out the beaches, relax and explore the area

spend a couple of days exploring the sights and definitely sample the local seafood of prawns, crabs and fish. Explore the country side and hopefully 4x4 routes
