Trip Itinerary
1

Auckland

Day 1-3
2

Coromandel Peninsula

Day 3-5
One of the more famous and most visited beaches in these parts is at Cathedral Cove. There are a number of tour operators who will give you a guided tour out to visit the sea caves and check out the towering cliffs of the Te-Whanganui-A-Hei Marine Reserve.
3

Rotorua

Day 5-7
Rotorua is bubbling (see what we did there?) with geothermal activity and you can see it wherever you look. But one of the best places to see it in all its glory is Wai-O-Tapu, a place that encompasses a range of different volcanic activity, including the world famous Champagne Pool and the Lady Knox Geyser. You’ll want to spend a good couple of hours wandering around Wai-O-Tapu and visiting all the different lakes, mud pools and geysers.
4

Wellington

Day 7-9
Wellington is small but has no shortage of things to see. visit the cool one-of-a-kind stores along Manners Mall and Cuba Street. When you’re on that street, notice the cool Bucket Fountain that doesn’t actually work the way it’s supposed to (take a close look at it and you’ll see the water doesn’t actually obey the easy bucket system and sometimes misses the buckets altogether). A visit to Archives New Zealand, on 10 Mulgrave Street, allows you to see the Treaty of Waitangi (the document that is considered the foundation of the country). You can also take a tour of the Beehive, the country’s parliament, if you’re feeling politically-inclined, before taking a stroll along the waterfront, decorated with interesting sculptures and populated by numerous bars (including some decent craft beer spots)
5

Hanmer Springs

Day 9-11
After an awesome day road tripping down from Blenheim, a day in Hanmer is just what the doctor ordered. Surrounded by the beautiful Southern Alps with crisp alpine air, relax and unwind in the award-winning thermal pools or simply enjoy the peace and tranquillity of Hanmer Village and surrounding areas.
6

Christchurch

Day 11-13
Christchurch was named as number 2 on the New York Times top 50 places to visit in 2014 and there are plenty of reasons for that. Following the earthquakes of 2010-11 the city has now emerged as a vibrant city with plenty to see and do. Known as the Garden City, Christchurch has an abundance of parks and gardens including the gorgeous botanical gardens. Add in to this mix the tranquil Avon River and you can see why people rave so much about the city.
7

Adelaide

Day 13-15
Adelaide is bursting with culture, flavours, events and entertainment. Taste your way through world-famous wine regions only minutes away from the city or indulge in some of Australia’s most award-winning restaurants in the heart of Adelaide. Join the party at our immersive festivals and events or spend the night exploring Adelaide attractions and a thriving restaurant and bar scene. Adelaide is a gateway to some of Australia’s best wine country and is home to Australia's official best restaurant, hotel, wine, gin and beach, Adelaide punches well above its weight when it comes to dishing up the best but don't take our word for it; you be the judge.
8

Melbourne

Day 15-23
Everywhere you turn there's something special to see and do in Victoria – from sandy beaches and snow-capped mountains, to zoos and aquariums, historic sites, bars and cafes, white-water rafting, spas, wildlife and wineries, or drives along Victoria's breathtaking coastline.
9

Sydney

Day 23-31
The vibrant city shines all year with spectacular events, including the world-famous Sydney New Year’s Eve fireworks, blockbuster musicals, brilliant theatre, thrilling sports, and Vivid Sydney’s festival of light, music and ideas
10

Brisbane

Day 31-39
As the capital of the Sunshine State we are blessed with idyllic subtropical weather all year round. With award-winning food and wine, a jam-packed events calendar, adventurous activities, scenic weekend getaways and plenty to explore all over the city, there's always something to do.
