Guided trip
Jordan is becoming a big tourist destination for its nature. Whether you are on your back floating in the Dead Sea or gazing at the stars in the desert, what's there not to love? My name is Jai. When I was hosting on couchsurfing, I discovered that I like showing people the places that I love, and also sharing experiences with like-minded people - especially first time experiences. Prior to boarding the plane to Jordan, you need to download and pay for the Jordan Pass on your phone. This will not only give you free admission to some of the attractions in Jordan, but it will also pay for your entry visa into Jordan prior to getting to the airport, which will save you time at immigration. Included in the price: - Accommodation - Breakfast - Airport shuttle - Citadel (included in price of a Jordan Pass) - 24 hour guided Beduin tour - Beduin 3 local meals with bedouin tea and water - 1 night in camp under the stars Not Included: - Jordan Pass (See details above) - Food (We will split restaurants family style, so we can eat more variety:) - Souvenirs) - Transportation between Amman-Petra-Dead Sea....we need to agree on how we want to travel Please let me know if you have any questions!

Trip Itinerary
1

Amman

Day 1-2
When we meet at the airport, we will take a shuttle to our hotel. Our hotel is near Rainbow Street in city center of Amman. This will allow us to go to one of the restaurants nearby for our first meal together and walk around at different stores and souks.
2

Amman

Day 2-3
On day 2, we will walk around Amman, seeing some sights. Amman is split into two sections-Old Amman and New Amman. We will see King Abdullah Mosque, named for the first king of the current ruling dynasty of Jordan. It is the only mosque in Amman that openly welcomes non-Muslim. Nearby is a church that we can visit. We will get to know the city the first twp days before going into nature. Also on either day 1 or day 2, we can go to the Citadel in order to see the sunset over Amman, where it becomes a golden city.
3

Wadi Musa

Day 3-5
We will take either a local bus (they only go when the bus is full) to Petra. Alternatively, we can rent a car if a TripMate has an international driver's license and feels comfortable driving. Entrance to Petra is paid for by Jordan Pass. The shortest trip to the panoramic lookout view (with narrow passageways) is guided, so we pay extra. The longer way up leads us around the Royal Tombs. We will walk around, and the furthest point will be the monastery. We will spend the night in a hotel in a nearby town.
4

Dead Sea

Day 5
We will start our day early and go to the famous Dead Sea. We will most likely spend the day swimming...or floating 🙂 Also, it is said that the salt in the Dead Sea is good for the skin. If we have a private car, we can go back to Amman easily. No need for hotel here. We will stay in a hotel in Amman.
5

Wadi Rum Village

Day 5-6
What are we waiting for? Let's get up early, so we can be picked up at our hotel and taken to the desert for a day tour and sleeping under the stars on a desert night. This part of the itinerary will be that much better if you open your favorite music player and turn on Sting-Desert Rose.... The jeep day tours start from Rum Village around 9.15 am. The classic tour we propose includes more than 10 remarkable places in the desert (dunes, canyons, natural arches, beautiful points of view, Nabataean inscriptions ...). The tour is well-balanced for everyone. You'll never stay more than 30 minutes in a row in the jeep. And you'll never stay more than 30 minutes at the same place.
6

Amman

Day 6-7
We will go back to Amman. We will spend the last day winding down, seeing what we didn't see. Of course, we must have our last dinner. The next morning, we will say farewell...until we meet again on a new adventure.
