Instead of a traditional hotel, you'll have the opportunity to enjoy a private house, a charming villa, or a spacious apartment. While our default pricing is for a single room, we offer an even more budget-friendly option if you choose to stay in a twin room (-50 EUR from given price). Here, your comfort is our priority, and you can look forward to a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The city's setting provides stunning views from many vantage points. Historic Charm: The city boasts a rich history and is known for its charming historic center. Stroll through cobblestone streets, visit old churches, and admire the traditional architecture. Funchal Market (Mercado dos Lavradores): This market is a sensory delight. It's famous for its colorful flower and fresh produce stalls, as well as local crafts and fish market. Funchal is a lively and captivating city that offers a mix of natural beauty, cultural heritage, and modern amenities, making it a fantastic starting point for exploring the wonders of Madeira.

Ponta de São Lourenço Experience

Day 1-2
Ponta de São Lourenço is a natural gem on the eastern tip of Madeira. Here's what makes it a must-visit: Unique Landscape: It's renowned for its rugged and arid landscape, in stark contrast to the rest of the island. Hiking Paradise: The area offers excellent hiking trails, allowing you to explore the dramatic cliffs, colorful rock formations, and diverse flora. Breathtaking Views: The viewpoints along the way offer stunning vistas of the Atlantic Ocean and the southeastern coast of Madeira. Day 2-3
A very special day! The Pico do Arieiro to Pico Ruivo hike is a breathtaking adventure in Madeira. This challenging yet incredibly rewarding trail takes you through some of the island's most dramatic and stunning landscapes. The journey starts at Pico do Arieiro, one of the highest peaks on Madeira, and leads you to Pico Ruivo, the island's highest peak. The hike offers: Spectacular Views: You'll be treated to panoramic views of jagged peaks, deep valleys, and the vast Atlantic Ocean throughout the journey. Varied Terrain: The trail meanders through rocky terrain, lush meadows, and tunnels carved into the mountainside. Challenging Sections: Be prepared for some steep ascents and narrow paths, making it a trail suited for experienced hikers. Environmental Diversity: You'll encounter a diverse range of flora and fauna, including the iconic Madeira Heather. Alternatively, you may choose to embark on a scenic drive around the island, with stops at two authentic gems, Paul do Mar and Jardim do Mar, for a taste of their unique charm. Paul do Mar, another delightful coastal village on the southwest coast of Madeira, offers a unique coastal experience. Key Highlights: Seaside Charm: Paul do Mar sits right on the coastline, providing you with mesmerizing views of the ocean. The village has a small beach where you can relax and soak up the sun. Fishing Village: The town has a strong fishing tradition, and you can witness local fishermen going about their daily tasks. Surfing and Watersports: Just like its neighbor Jardim do Mar, Paul do Mar is also known for great surfing conditions. You can also try paddleboarding and bodyboarding here.
