Trip Itinerary

Triángulo Activo Caminito del Rey
Day 1
If you want to see one of Andalusia’s most complete and beautiful natural sites, you have to visit this inland area of Costa del Sol. We will stay in a country house near the village of Álora, a town with a mix of cultures. Throughout the centuries Iberians, Romans, and Arabs have lived there, leaving a cultural and gastronomic heritage worth visiting. There is plenty to visit and activities to do. I will suggest some of them below, but everything can be finalized together.

Casa Rural La Capachera
Day 1-4
First thing first, this weekend is all about relaxation, nature and food. We will stay in this charming country house located in a bucolic environment where you can enjoy a daily run or walk. Very near is El Caminito del Rey, which is a very popular attraction in the area. The house has a stunning mountain view, a private swimming pool and a barbecue area outside where it would be amazing to cook together. The house is located 44km from the airport of Malaga, easy to reach with a cab. Check-in on Friday from 5pm Checkout on Monday before 10am I guess you will all arrive at different times, the best way to start our weekend is to be flexible. On arrival on Friday Chef Dave Bone (published and awarded Michelin guide chef, check him out 😁) will we have ready for us a welcome drink by the pool and sharing/buffet style. Let's get to know each other! On Saturday, we can start our adventure by visiting a closeby vineyard and tasting amazing wines. We can after have a typical lunch in the village of Alora and visit the historical sites. After that, we can all go back to the house and relax on the poolside, with more wine and cook all together on the outside. Dave Bone will be still with us, so we can always count on his touch. On Sunday we can all have fun and have a tour of the area with the kayak (never done it, but I am sure it will be very fun :) I leave this very open because, at the end of the day, it's a relaxing weekend, but we can all explore a typical restaurant around the area at a certain point.
