Guided trip
Hi everyone, I am looking forward to this long weekend I am organising to destress in nature. I hope you will find it inviting and join me. First of all, I am Paola, in my early 40s. I have been travelling a lot in my life, not just for pleasure, but also for necessity. I am originally from Italy, but I lived for many years in London, where I met my other half. Together we moved to Ibiza where we opened our sustainable restaurant, and we are now on a new adventure in Malaga, the always-sunny Costa del Sol. I have been working in hospitality most of my life, since my university days starting as a bartender and ending in managing worldwide awarded cocktail bars in London, but I have always been in love with the art world (in which I worked when leaving in Rome) that's why I am now fully retired from the buzzy, busy life of hospitality and full-time photographer. 📍 Back to this relaxing weekend!!!! For those whose in need of a short break from their busy routine, I have booked a country house in the hills of Malaga, near the Chorro reservoir and Caminito del Rey, with a pool and barbecue. This long weekend aims to relax, meet new people, have a chat with a glass of wine, cook together and watch the sunset. The house is close to the airport of Malaga and has beautiful nature walks and more. We will arrive on Friday and depart on Monday. 💰 WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE? 🏕️ 3 nights in a country house with a private DOUBLE room, swimming pool, mountain view 🧑‍🍳 Michelin guide awarded chef cooking for us on our first night on Friday and helping us for the rest of the weekend ☕ General basic food and snacks for the house 🍾 Drinks and Dinner of Friday 🥩 BBQ and Drinks for Saturday 🍷 Vineyard tour and tasting 🙌 A small TripLeader-fee for planning and organizing. 💻 ⛰ What can we do apart from enjoying the peace of the mountain? KAYAK (costs a part around €15 PP) VINEYARD TOUR WITH TASTING (included in the price) VISIT OF THE HISTORICAL VILLAGE OF ALORA (€3 if we want a guide) Will you join me on this relaxing adventure?

Trip Itinerary
1

Triángulo Activo Caminito del Rey

Day 1
If you want to see one of Andalusia’s most complete and beautiful natural sites, you have to visit this inland area of Costa del Sol. We will stay in a country house near the village of Álora, a town with a mix of cultures. Throughout the centuries Iberians, Romans, and Arabs have lived there, leaving a cultural and gastronomic heritage worth visiting. There is plenty to visit and activities to do. I will suggest some of them below, but everything can be finalized together.
2

Casa Rural La Capachera

Day 1-4
First thing first, this weekend is all about relaxation, nature and food. We will stay in this charming country house located in a bucolic environment where you can enjoy a daily run or walk. Very near is El Caminito del Rey, which is a very popular attraction in the area. The house has a stunning mountain view, a private swimming pool and a barbecue area outside where it would be amazing to cook together. The house is located 44km from the airport of Malaga, easy to reach with a cab. Check-in on Friday from 5pm Checkout on Monday before 10am I guess you will all arrive at different times, the best way to start our weekend is to be flexible. On arrival on Friday Chef Dave Bone (published and awarded Michelin guide chef, check him out 😁) will we have ready for us a welcome drink by the pool and sharing/buffet style. Let's get to know each other! On Saturday, we can start our adventure by visiting a closeby vineyard and tasting amazing wines. We can after have a typical lunch in the village of Alora and visit the historical sites. After that, we can all go back to the house and relax on the poolside, with more wine and cook all together on the outside. Dave Bone will be still with us, so we can always count on his touch. On Sunday we can all have fun and have a tour of the area with the kayak (never done it, but I am sure it will be very fun :) I leave this very open because, at the end of the day, it's a relaxing weekend, but we can all explore a typical restaurant around the area at a certain point.
