Trip Itinerary

Göreme

Day 1-2
We will meet in Goreme where we will be staying for the next days. Depending on your arrivals and your moods we will arrange the day and of course we are gonna have a welcome dinner so as to meet each other!
2

Avanos

Day 2-3
The 2nd day will be a full day! We will explore the top sights of Cappadocia with a guide that will explain and give us all the interesting info and a driver that will take us around. We will visit : -Devrent Valley or imagination Valley In this valley, different rock formations can be seen as animals which is why this valley can also be called Imagination Valley. We will use our imagination to describe all these rocks. -Monks Valley or also known as Paşabağları. There is a bit of a difference between these two meanings in English and Turkısh. Monks used to live here and hide from the religious pressures of the Roman government or local people.  During the Roman period, most of the people were pagans and not Christians. That's why all the history of these places comes from this point.  In Turkish, Paşa means men who have lots of money and land. Bağ means land or area that can be purchased. In the following years, all these rich men bought some part of the land for their own economic power. Afterward, the local people were known as Paşabağları. - Avanos town will be your third point of interest. In the art center, we will see how to make pottery and ceramic. Avanos is the only town that is famous for pottery and ceramic made using red and white clay only. In the art center, we will watch a pottery-making demonstration and will also be able to try it ourselves Then probably we will have to have some lunch so we’ll head to an open buffet lunch in a local place. -Esentepe viewpoint for some amazing views and photos -Goreme valley and fairy chimneys The largest and tallest fairy chimney known as Uchisar Castle will be your next point of interest located in Uchisar. It is also a natural structure, not made by human hands.  -Zelve Open Air Museum -The deepest and largest underground city in Cappadocia. Consisting of seven floors, you will see all parts of the underground city open to the public and learn how people survived under limited opportunities.

Göreme

Day 3-4
The 3rd day will be more relaxed. Those of you who want can experience the Hot air balloon ride. This is totally OPTIONAL because it costs around 250-300 euros. The rest of the day we can relax, explore Goreme, grab some souvenirs, find all the beautiful sports and in general experience the Turkish lifestyle!
4

Cappadocia

Day 4-5
This day is about hiking the Red Alley! Red Valley is one of the best-known valleys in Cappadocia for its colorful rock formations. The bright red rock is best visible though, at sunset when the sun lights up the landscape in a sea of oranges and reds. The Red Valley sunset viewpoint is a beautiful spot to watch the sun go down.

Day 5
This will be the last day and as always I want us to decide together, always taking into consideration your departures. We may all want to experience something again, we may want to go to a near town. Whatever will be on our minds. We decide!
