Guided trip
Hi! My name’s Johnny, and I live here in beautiful Victoria, located on the southern tip of Vancouver Island. This city is chock-full of beauty and culture, and over the course of five days, I intend to share a “sample platter” of some of my favourite parts with you. We will visit tea houses and art galleries located in several beautiful historic buildings that may or may not be haunted. We’ll hit the high seas, where we’ll encounter marine wildlife such as whales and sea lions. We’ll take a foodie tour of Canada’s oldest Chinatown, and bike to some of Victoria’s most beautiful parks, visiting sites like the Canadian National Historic Site at Butchart Gardens and the world’s tallest freestanding totem pole in Beacon Hill Park. Along the way, we’ll also visit some of the best restaurants, museums, and heritage buildings Victoria has to offer. Here’s a quick look at the planned excursions (more detailed listing below): DAY ONE: Introduction to Victoria, plus Sunset Kayak Trip DAY TWO: Hybrid eBike trip to Butchart Gardens and local farms DAY THREE: Art, tea, and politics—downtown tour with Indigenous art DAY FOUR: Whale Watching, Haunted Heritage, and the Royal BC Museum Included in the price: - Private accommodation downtown - Hotel/B&B breakfast - All transportation (after arrival in Victoria) - All entrance fees (galleries, museums, parks, tours, excursions) Not included: - Drinks or meals at restaurants / cafés / etc., unless specifically listed as included - Transportation from Vancouver or elsewhere - Travel insurance, unless you live in Germany or Austria (Allianz)
