Hungarian Highlights - the Hidden Gems of Budapest, Pécs, Győr and Esztergom

Hi, My name is Ferelith and I’ve traveled to 12 different countries. I like reading, painting, and walking around museums aimlessly. Whats the plan? We begin our journey in Pécs in a comfortable house on a quiet cul-de-sac. After everyone has arrived, we'll start off our day with breakfast, and go to the world heritage site of the Early Christian Mausoleum. Later, we'll make our way to the Modern Hungarian Gallery. We'll end our day by going to Szechenyi Square and catching dinner. Off to our next destination, our stay in Győr is a stylish bed & breakfast aparthotel. From there we will embark on a walking tour of the city and get a feel for the culture and environment. Following then, we will visit the National Theatre of Győr, and end the day by watching the sunset from Győr's famous Győri Óriáskerék. Our next stop is Esztergom, a quaint little town just an hour from Budapest. Our first day consists of exploring what the city has to offer, such as the historic Cathedral Library, St Stephen's Square, the Dark Gate, and so much more. Our last day involves hiking the Rám-Szakadék, a rocky canyon with waterfalls, famous for its trail involving railings and ladders. We end our journey in Budapest, Paris of the East. Here we finish off our trip taking in all Budapest has to offer. We'll visit Fisherman's Bastion, and the Buda Castle, see the Parliament building light up at night, and even cruise down the Danube River. On our last day, we'll spend it relaxing in the famous Szechenyi Thermal Baths. As we wrap up this trip, you'll leave this trip with a new outlook on the world.
