Guided trip
Are you ready for an adventure? Hi everyone, this is Silvia🖐🏻 I'm from Italy and since 2019 I've been living in Denmark. I love hiking and camping and I'm looking for like minded people to share this adventure with! Since I moved to Denmark, I've been wildcamping in the Scandinavian countries different times. I love the feeling of being completely surrounded by nature and wake up to beautiful views of fjords, rivers or valleys. THE TRIP: The main highlight of the trip will be Norwegian nature. Not only will we wild camp, but we will also do two of the most beautiful hikes of Norway: Preikestolen and Trolltunga (considered one of the best hikes in the world). Further, we will drive along some of the most scenic roads of Norway, having amazing views over lush hillsides, steep mountainsides and deep fjords. We will shortly pay a visit to the cities of Stavager and Odda. On the last day, before saying goodbye, we will also have a short time to explore Oslo. ACCOMODATION: As already said we will wild camp (more info: https://thenorwayguide.com/wild-camping/). This means that every day we will have to find a spot to pitch our tents and we will have to leave the morning after. If the weather is good and we are brave enough we can shower in lakes and rivers. Otherwise we will ask campsites if we can borrow their showers😊 We will cook meals on our camping cookware. SLEEPING AND GEAR: We will sleep 2 in each tent and every participant has to bring their own sleeping bag and sleeping mat. I will provide tents for everyone and one cookware, so at least one participant has to bring another one😊 WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE COST: - Guide & leader for the entire trip (Silvia!) - Car rental, gas and payroads - Food: I will provide ingredients for all the meals and we will cook together - Access to a dedicated WhatsApp group for this event to connect with other trip mates, coordinate arrival options & stay in touch - Access to a google photos album dedicated to this trip, where you can share all your amazing pics & videos. WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED: - Extra snacks, food or drinks you might want to buy - Parking: sometimes we might be required to pay for parking - Showers: we might have to pay a bit for showering - Public transport in Oslo - Attractions and museums you want to visit in Oslo (you can choose freely what to do in Oslo) If you have any questions, please feel free to ask in the Q&A section below. After you book, I would be delighted to schedule a call to ensure that we are a good fit and that this trip aligns with your expectations. I'm looking forward to hearing from you! 🙌🏻

Trip Itinerary
1

Kristiansand

Day 1-2
We will meet in Kristiansand in the morning (9 or 10 o'clock) and drive towards Preikestolen. We will pay a visit to the colorful city of Stavanger on the Lysefjord and afterward, we will find a place to camp close to the start of the Preikestolen trail. Total driving time: 5h (Breakfast is not included on this day)
2

Pulpit Rock

Day 2-3
On the second day we will hike up to Preikestolen, and after around 2 hours of hiking we will reach top of the 604 metres high cliff, where we will find the most dramatic view of the Lysefjord. The hike to Preikestolen is of moderate difficulty. In total, the 8 kilometer hike takes about 4-5 hours (round trip). After the hike we will find a place to shower, and we will look for our camping spot for the night.
3

Odda

Day 3-4
On the third day, we will drive toward the start of the Trolltunga trail. We will visit Odda and we will have plenty of beautiful views over the fjord, mountains, and waterfalls in the Oddadalen (Odda valley). Along the way we will take a short ferry between Hjelmeland and Nesvik, crossing the Boknafjord. At the end of the day, we will find a place to camp close to the start of the Trolltunga trail. Total driving time: 5h
4

Trolltunga

Day 4-6
On the fourth day we will start the hike to reach Trolltunga (or troll's tongue). Trolltunga and the valley below were carved out by an icecap that covered most of Scandinavia during a series of ice ages. Once we reach the top we will enjoy the stunning view from the cliff hovering 700 metres above Ringedalsvatnet lake. We will aim to start the hike from parking 2, but if the parking is full we will have to start from parking one. Hike length (round trip): from P1: 38km - from P2: 27km As the hike is long and demanding we will use two days to do this hike and spend a night wild camping in the Trolltunga Park (in this way we might also be able to enjoy the cliff without a crowd of people). Therefore, we will have to bring our camping gear and necessary food with us during the hike. Once we're back from the hike we will find a place to shower and pitch our tents for the following nights
5

Oslo

Day 6-7
The day after the hike we will start driving towards Oslo. Driving time: 6h. This night we will camp nearby Oslo, possibly on a lake's shore. After we arrive, there will be free time to rest or swim in the lake. We will cook a delicious dinner and enjoy the last night together. The following day, we will drive to the city and there will be time to explore and people are free to visit the attractions and museums they prefer😊 (Dinner and lunch are not included on the last day)
