Guided trip
Hello, future trip mates! Let me explain why you should definitely join me on our amazing trip to LAKE Como, Italy! With Lake Como, you get the charm of Italy paired with a staggering, stunning mountain lake setting. What I mean is this: if you’re not sitting at the base of the Alps, looking out at the most hauntingly deep blue water you’ve ever seen with a slice of pizza in one hand and a glass of prosecco in the other, why bother even going to Europe? Lake Como has been a low-key hotspot for million and billionaires for years. The shores of the lake are sprinkled with both sleepy pastel Italian towns and foreign-owned villas that are so grand you kind of have to squint when you look at them. Shaped like an upside-down Y, Lake Como is huge–encompassing around 56 square miles of change-your-life sapphire blue/green water. How do I know all of these specific details? Because I spent quite some time there, working and hanging out with real local friends and Italian family. I've experienced the pure Italian lifestyle and got to know all the hidden gems, that only locals know about them! The best thing about Como is that is only 45 minutes far away from the city life in Milan by train. It is so diverse, the combination of small town and nature is just incredible! How to get there? There are a ton of cheap flights into the Milan airport Malpensa or at Bergamo, you can get here with Ryanair or other low-cost carriers. Another option is by train. You can train by train from almost every city in Europe to Milan. As I mentioned from Milan to Como are many trains, it goes every hour and it is super fast and cozy! The ticket is only 5 euros one way! This is also a great reason to come for an extended weekend – you can fit everything you’ll need into a carry-on! What’s the first thing you think about when you hear “Lake Como”? For me there are a few things that come to mind: dolce far niente, George Clooney, villas, Aperol Spritz, pasta, pizza, and oh…did I mention the best sunsets!? Luckily it’s possible to see a lot of Lake Como, Italy on a budget, without spending too much money. Where are you going to sleep? Como can be a bit pricey, but don't you worry! I got you covered! I know the best place in town, Hostel Ostello Bello Lake Como! It is a funky, friendly and young spirit place, where you can meet all very interesting people from all around the world! The coolest thing is their bar, where we can enjoy Italian breakfast (coffee and croissant) or Aperitivo time ☕️🥐🍹 What about the food? Ooooh, that is my favorite topic! I am a big foodie and believe me when I tell you, you'll have the best Aperitivo snacks, seafood pasta or risotto, real Italian pizza, and be ready for the best desserts, such as tiramisu from Nona, Cannoli, limoncello, and many more! What are we going to see & do? Well, this is going to be a guided trip, so you can expect a lot of exploring and activities. We will discover all the hidden streets of Como city, we will walk around the lake, take the cable car to catch the highest point in Como city for the best view over the lake and the best sunset, we will go paddle on the lake (if the weather will be good), a trip to another town for dinner - Bellagio with the boat! - This will definitely be an unforgettable experience! Then we will go hiking if wanted and also we can make one day trip to Milan! I have many more ideas prepared for you, so I will organize your personal boutique for 4 days trip to Como, which you will never forget! Extra activities: There are going to be some extra activities such as paddle boarding, morning flow workout, and psychological coaching workshop, for anybody who will be interested! Transport in Como: We can basically walk everywhere around Como Lake, but there is an option we rent a car for one day trip to another city! Otherwise, we will use our food and public transport, if needed. Food: As a reminder the best Hostel in Como has also a big kitchen, so you can also prepare your own food, and snacks for the day! I am sooooo excited to show you my favorite place in Italy and to let you experience the best Italian 4 days of your life!

Milan

Day 4
On Sunday and also your last day of this Italian adventure, we will go to Milan to have a traditional cappuccino and brioche for breakfast! We will take the train from Como to Milano, which takes approximately 45 min. You will also take with you all of the languages if you are leaving Italy from Milan after our last day together. At the main train station, you can leave your suitcase in the lockers for the whole day if you want. So, after our traditional Italian breakfast we will walk around the city center of Milan, we will see and take many pictures with their most famous Catedral - Duomo. You can also buy some souvenirs if you'd like around that area. For lunch, we will have a very traditional pastry from the south of Italy - Panzerotti. I guarantee you that, you'll fall in love with this dish! Then we will go to a very nice place in town - Parco Sempione, to have the best gelato in town! We will walk around the park, just chill out and relax. After 6 pm is time to say goodbye. I will finish our trip with a friendship circle (will tell you more about it later on), and then I will wish you a nice journey back to your home. I am looking forward to creating all of these activities for you, so you will have the change to experience the real italian vibes during such a short notice! :)
