Hello lovely souls and hopefully fellow travellers! Travelling in the mountains is always a life altering experience. The beautiful region of Landour feels like something out of a charming, mountainous wonderland, where the silence feels like music. Couple that up with two days in one of the most quaint, and the oldest, loveliest cities in India-Dehradun. We would be starting at Dehradun, where we'll spend two days familiarizing and exploring. We will then head to Landour, a vintage town nestled in the lap of nature up high. Its views, the food, the treks, everything is going to take your breath away. Rest assured!

About me! I am a Apoorva, a designer by profession but a travel lover at heart. I love finding humour in the most mundane of situations, and finding little joys in travelling through unfamiliar paths. I love discovering the hidden gems of my country India.It has so much to offer. From breathtaking landscapes, to food that you can't forget and love languages that changes it's beautiful forms across states. Travelling feels like food for the soul, and I am so excited to be laying this wonderful spread for you all as well!

Details about the accommodation: We're going to be living in a vintage, idyllic apartment overlooking the beautiful mountains around in Dehradun. In Landour, we're going to spend two nights in a picturesque hotel, which will have the best best sights of Landour to offer! The accommodations are reserved in mind keeping the best possible interests of a traveler looking for solace and solitude. While it may not be dipping in luxury, but it will be amazing enough to have a ball of a time together! The accommodations are subject to change in any conditions where its a safety concern or number of travelers are a constraint. The rooms will be on twin sharing basis, however we can arrange for private accommodation too at an additional cost. Upon reservation, I will be very happy to entertain any questions or queries you could have.

Dehradun

Day 1-2

Welcome to Dehradun! Upon arrival, we will check into our accommodation and freshen up. We will start your nature-filled journey with a visit to Robber's Cave, a fascinating natural cave formation with a gushing stream inside. Afterward, head to the iconic Tapkeshwar Temple, nestled amidst lush greenery and cascading waterfalls. In the evening, take a leisurely stroll down Rajpur Road, exploring local shops and sampling delicious street food.

Mussoorie

Day 2-3

We will now embark on a day trip to the picturesque hill station of Mussoorie, just a short drive away from Dehradun. We will visit the stunning Kempty Falls and soak in the breathtaking views. Take a cable car ride to Gun Hill, the second highest peak in Mussoorie, to witness the panoramic vistas of the surrounding mountains and valleys. We will make a lot of memories at the vibrant Mall Road, packed with shops, cafes, and local handicrafts. We will end our day here at a lovely accomodation.

Landour

Day 3-5

We will arrive at Landour next morning to our picturesque hotel and take some time to settle in and breathe in the crisp mountain air. In the evening, take a leisurely walk along the narrow winding lanes of Landour, lined with colonial-era houses and stunning vistas. We will visit Char Dukan, a cluster of four shops dating back to the British era, where you can enjoy a hearty breakfast. Savor the delectable pancakes, waffles, and mouthwatering snacks while taking in the serene ambiance. After breakfast, stroll to Sister's Bazaar, a charming market known for its handmade crafts, local products, and delightful cafes. Enjoy some shopping and indulge in a leisurely lunch. We will will trek along The Jabarkhet Heritage Site that gives unbelievable views of the montains. The trek has the feels of Alice in Wonderland, and each path is magical! We will also visit the ever famous Landour Bakehouse, known for its delectable freshly baked goods and aromatic coffee. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast here, and if you're lucky, you might even spot some famous writers or artists who frequent this place for inspiration. Afterward, head to Kellogg Memorial Church, a beautiful Anglican church with stunning stained glass windows and a serene ambiance. Spend some time in quiet contemplation or simply admire the architecture.

Dehradun

Day 5

Its going to be time for goodbyes! But forever a bunch of amazing memories we will make. Laughing, loving, traveling, exploring, eating, breathing in solitude. It will be an unforgettable experience, one which we will conclude back in Dehradun. Here on the 5th night, we will bid farewell to each other with a promise to always stay in touch!
