Berlin is one of my favourite cities in Germany and the world, and for a good reason! It's welcoming and tolerant of anything under the sun. But here's a catch - you really need to know people and places to experience the real Berlin. After all, you're not travelling to Berlin just to see the Brandenburger Tor:) Berlin is one of those places that make you feel local even if you weren't born here. And I want to share this feeling with you and turn you into a real Berliner in just 4 days! I am looking for 4 interesting & fun-loving travelers to join me for an exciting city break to explore Berlin's hidden gems and local hotspots. Think street art, clubs, amazing international food options, flee markets and more! Read on for the full itinerary.

About me! A few words about myself. Born in Belarus, I've lived and travelled across 90+ countries. For 7 years, I worked at Google, but last year I quit to follow my travel dreams. I am an expert traveler and I know what makes a trip a truly meaningful and memorable experience. On a personal level, I have a very wide range of interests, from surfing to scuba diving, freediving, hiking, formulating my own cosmetics, yoga, Buddhism, alternative states of consciousness, and so much more! I connect well with people who are deep, thoughtful, well-travelled and slightly crazy:)

Details about the accommodation: On this trip, you'll be staying in either an AirBnB or a hotel with your fellow trip mates. I'll aim for an AirBnB with separate bedrooms, but central short-term rentals tend to go pricey, so you might need to share a room with another traveler (separate beds, of course), depending on how many people join the trip. The indicated price will cover 3 nights of accommodation in the city center, public transport tickets for 4 days, and a special tour of Berlin's street art! The trip requires a minimum of 3 travelers to sign up, but if fewer people show interest I will still do my best to go ahead with it offering you options for adjustment that can make it feasible (e.g. change of start date, inclusions or duration, for example). It's my goal to show you Berlin as it is, and if you're enthusiastic about it, I am here to make it happen! Keep me posted in the Q&A section if you have questions about the trip!

Trip Itinerary
1

Kreuzberg

Day 1-2
Today the plan is simple. Meet each other, check in, and head out to explore. Depending on the weather, we can do a tour of the legendary Berlin wall either by bicycles or by taking U-bahn and walking. Then we'll move on to Kreuzberg, an iconic neighbourhood of Berlin that blends all cultures, cuisines, and styles in a big hotpot. We'll go to a local street-food market for the welcome dinner, and then try the best gelato in the world (according to me, which counts:). Depending on the energy, we can continue on to some chilled bar to keep the conversations flowing.
2

Friedrichshain

Day 2-3
After we've had a leisurely breakfast, we will take a tour of the alternative side of Berlin, exploring amazing street art & hidden courtyards, which will help us better understand its vibe and recent history. Once done, we'll get a few hours of free time for personal exploration, only to reconnect in the evening at one of the many cool venues of Friedrichshain, Kreuzberg or Neukölln. Depending on the group's preference, we can go for something more relaxed like a jazz bar, else we can hit one of the popular venues that I always keep an eye on for upcoming events (parties, concerts etc).
3

Mitte

Day 3-4
Today we'll all meet for brunch in the Mitte area, and then check one of the many world-class cultural offerings of Berlin. We have a choice of going to a museum, an audiovisual exhibition, or a Soviet-time base turned street-art venue. Once done, we'll have time for some last-minute shopping before the big night. Tonight we're heading to KitKat, a club that's surrounded with so many legends and rumours:) It's a lot of fun and probably one of the most liberating experiences you can get in Berlin. I love it! And so will you! Just make sure to let your extravagant, fetish, kinky side come out and shine;)
4

Prenzlauer Berg

Day 4
Hopefully, we've all made it home by now:) So we have time to pack and check out. We'll store bags, and slowly move to Mauerpark - a quintessential Sunday Berlin activity and a favourite flee market of mine, filled with food stalls, vintage finds, and performances of all sorts. Easily, it will take us a few hours to chill there. After that, we have an option to go to Vabali, my favourite spa, to relax after the crazy party. And that's where we say goodbye! Believe me, it will be the most epic long weekend you've had in a while. And after just 4 days, you'll feel like a Berliner. You've now seen different sides of it and experienced the best of different neighbourhoods. I am sure you'll want to come back for more, and Berlin will always be there to greet you with its viby, kinky, artsy arms:)
