Welcome to Morocco, the gem of North Africa. On this trip we will spend a week exploring the city of Marrakesh (Jemaa el-Fna, Kutubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, Bazar, Saadian Tumbs, etc.) and its surrounding nature; the Sahara desert, we will travel through and the Merzouga side of the Saharian desert), and Ouzoud waterfalls for a trekking day. We will also learn how to do some Moroccan craftsmanship and spend a night at a campsite in the middle of the desert after a camel ride at the sunset :). It is insane how clear you will get to see the stars in the Saharian sky at night, you will be amazed (same as I did). During the trip to the desert we will cross breathtaking landscapes, like Todra Gorge, where we will spend the night, Rose Valley, Ouarzazate (where Gladiator was filmed) where we will have a guided tour . Trip Itinerary

Marrakesh
Day 1-4
We will meet in the city of Marrakesh where we will visit the most important sights, enjoy gastronomy and take a masterclass about Moroccan ceramic craftsmanship. We will stay in the heart of the Medina (city center) at a beautiful traditional riad (the rooms can be shared if you are traveling with someone else). On our third day we will depart early in the morning for trekking at the Oudzoud waterfalls (we will travel in a minibus).

Merzouga Desert
Day 4-6
We will be stopping in different villages along the way: On day 2 of our adventure, we will be driving for 4 hours from Dades Gorges to Merzouga, with a stopover at Todra Gorges where we will have breakfast at the hotel. We will visit Tinghir and explore the stunning Todra Gorges. Afterward, we will take a relaxing walk in the Todra Oasis that leads to the canyons. Later, we will embark on a 1-hour and 45-minute sunset camel ride to our overnight stay in nomadic tents in the heart of the desert. The tents are spacious and comfortable, and we will enjoy dinner under the stars while being entertained by music around the bonfire. This is a unique opportunity to experience the beauty of the desert at night and to observe the stars in the clear night sky ✨

Merzouga
Day 6
Day 3: Merzouga – The Draa Valley – Marrakech (9-hour drive). Take a sunrise camel ride in Merzouga and have breakfast at the Merzouga Hotel. We will also stop halfway for lunch in Ouarzazate. We will be arriving at Arrival Marrakech around 8:00 p.m. They will leave us back at our riad. On the fourth day, we will travel through the Merzouga desert in the Sahara on a guided trip, we might travel alongside another reduced group in a minibus to keep costs low.

Marrakesh
Day 6-7
To end this trip we will spend the last night in Marrakesh (hotel, riad o bed and breakfast) where we can have dinner together and some time to visit the medina at night, have a drink and a good time together :)
