Guided trip
👋 Hey, it's Kristina! I'm American-born, though currently living in beautiful Liguria, Italy! I absolutely LOVE hiking and exploring beautiful locations. Portovenere is where I live (so I'm a local) and it has so much to offer! Together, we will explore La Spezia, Portovenere with a hike to Le Grazie (another village in Portovenere) and back, Le Cinque Terre, and Pietrasanta (in Tuscany)! During our trip, I'll guide you to all of the best restaurants, focaccia, bakeries (pacific), pasticcerie, and gelato! We will also visit the landmarks in these areas. My dog, who goes on all adventures with me, will be accompanying us. My Fiancé (who is more of a local than I am and is Italian-born) may also join for some of the activities, giving some recommendations (at no extra charge). He's an avid hiker, too! One additional benefit for this trip is that since I already live in Portovenere, the accommodation will only be split between TripMates, excluding myself (so, more money saved!). Here are the details!... ☀️ We will meet each morning with an itinerary for the day. There will also be downtime! 🛏️ I always strive for separate bedrooms, though some bedrooms may be shared, though all TripMates will have their own bed. 🧭 We will be exploring La Spezia, Portovenere, Le Grazie, Le Cinque Terre, and Pietrasanta. I will guide you to the best food, landmarks, and viewpoints along the way! 🥾 Moderate hiking will be involved in this trip. 💶 Included in the price: - Accommodation (likely shared rooms) - My fee for travel arrangements - Free JoinMyTrip insurance (for German and Austrian residents) ⭐ All public transportation tickets, food, etc. will be paid separately and individually by tripmates, directly to the vendor. In this way, I will not be charging fees for this. My suggestion would be to bring along some cash (Euros) to make paying easier! For buying transportation, I will suggest apps to tripmates. 😊 A little more about me... I am very adventurous, and have traveled all over Europe, the United States, the UK, other parts of North America, and some of the Caribbean. I am very well-versed and speak native English, and conversational Italian. I always bring my dog (a border collie)! I love being active, as well as exploring cultures. I'm a remote worker and enjoy taking trips without missing out on work. I also love guiding trips and meeting new people! I hope to meet more TripMates with similar interests!

La Spezia

Day 1-2
La Spezia is the province is the main city, full of shops, restaurants, Pasticcerie, bars and liveliness! This is where your accommodation will be for all days of the stay. From La Spezia, you can easily access both the trains and buses. There is a beautiful sea boardwalk and much to explore. La Spezia also fosters amazing seafood, and is the province in which Portovenere lies. La Spezia and all of its glory is one of the largest ports in Italy!
2

Porto Venere

Day 2-3
In Portovenere, we will visit the beautiful landmarks, take a hike to Le Grazie, and have some amazing local foods! From the beach to the castle, to the beautifully colored houses, we'll see it all! Palmaria is a beautiful Island in Portovenere, full of lively beaches and hiking trails. If you're lucky, you'll see some native goats in passing! The natural atmosphere is breathtaking, and this island is full of beautiful views! The ferry goes directly back and forth from the mainland. We will take a trip to Palmaria if time allows!

Cinque Terre National Park

Day 3-4
Le Cinque Terre (The Five Lands) are a historic and national park withing Ligurian Italy. On this day, we'll start by visiting what I believe are the most beautiful of the lands. Time willing, we will visit all 5 lands! The landscapes and vies from this area are phenomenal, and the water so clear!
4

Pietrasanta

Day 4-5
Since these areas of Liguria border Tuscany, on this day, we will visit Pietrasanta, in the provice on Lucca, Tuscany. Here, we will view the art galleries in the city center, and have dinner at a local vineyard. Pietrasanta is truly a beautiful place! We will access this by a train from La Spezia.

On this day, as you pack to depart and take your individual transportations, we can meet once more for a breakfast together in the Mirabello, La Spezia. A beautiful area along the port, across the bridge.
