About me! Last year I went to Ghana for Detty December/New Years solo. None of my friends were able to join me and travel groups were selling packages for $4,000+ (not including flight). I fell victim to FOMO and booked my flight and accommodations the night before. I had so much fun and met lots of people who were solo traveling as well. I ended up extending my stay and left after 2 weeks. I wanted to put this trip together for people like me who wanted to go but didn't have anyone to go with!
Details about the accommodation: Price is based on double occupancy, there is a $300 upcharge for those who wish to have a room to themselves. If you are traveling alone, roommate matching is offered! Apartment-style accommodations with free wifi, washing machine, Kitchen and pool. The accommodation is Located centrally in Accra, Ghana! DAY: Fly in to Ghana, get picked up from the airport and brought to the accommodation. Unwind (you will probably be jetlag) NIGHT: If you’re still tired, feel free to rest up - if you live by our motto “outside, not in.” we will be heading out for the night to an (optional) event

The group will decide between: Brunch, Spend day at a beach club, Oxford street shopping, Osu castle, Bambos Adventure park (Feel free to do your own thing!) NIGHT: Afrofuture music festival (previously known as Afrochella) Optional: End the night out enjoying the night life with the group, do your own thing or return to the accommodation.

Group will decide between: Spa/beach day at Labadi beach, Accra Arts Center, National Museum, Aburi Botanical Gardens, Black Star Square, Gallery 1957 -E. Legon Botanical Gardens (has mini zipline and courses) (Feel free to do your own thing!) NIGHT: Afrofuture music festival (previously known as Afrochella) Optional: End the night out enjoying the night life with the group, do your own thing or return to the accommodation.

DAY: Cape Coast day trip: Kakum national park (canopy walk included), Elimina Slave Castle, Lunch at coconut grove beach resort (not included in price) NIGHT: Optional: Dinner at Mangos (authentic Ghanian food & STRONG drinks) Outsiders: Out for the night! Insiders: Back to accommodation or do your own thing *Remember this is YOUR experience, so you are in no way obligated to do everything listed!

Day: Your day is yours to enjoy as you please. The group will decide on various options, including golfing, spending a relaxing day at the beach club, indulging in a delightful brunch, pampering yourselves with a spa day, unleashing your competitive spirit with paintballing or bowling, or simply taking the opportunity to do your own thing and explore independently. Night: In the evening, we come together for a group farewell dinner, although participation is optional. Outsiders can choose to extend the festivities with a night of partying and savoring our last moments together, while insiders have the freedom to pursue their own preferences, whether it's rest and relaxation or more personal adventures.
