Robbie Williams is playing in Europe this Summer but most of his concerts are either as part of large festivals or are a couple of dates here and there as stand-alone concerts, most of them sold out. How about joining me and seeing him play at a magical church square called ‘The Fossos’ located just outside Valletta and have a small program arranged for you so that you can just go and enjoy the weather before summer starts fading into autumn or that you have to go back to school again? This is a short trip (a long weekend break) from Wednesday to Sunday (dates being 23rd August until 27th August). Those that want to or will be arriving earlier (or later) due to the flight details and timings can always let me know and I will arrange the hotel arrangement accordingly. If there is anyone who prefers a higher standard of hotel just let me know – I am trying to keep the weekend budget friendly but happy to help to accommodate and provide supplements for that. The overall temperature in Malta end of August is still around 30 degrees, so I have kept the general weekend break program light, allowing us to discuss last-minute ideas on the spot and decide on any types of activities we (or a part of the team) want to do. What is included in the price? - 4x Overnight in good level 3* hotel in the central area of St Julians in shared DBL. (SGL on request and with supplement). | Shared room. - 4x Continental Breakfast at the booked hotel - 1x Welcome drink at the hotel during the first evening - 1x Ticket for the concert. - 1x Transfers Hotel - Valletta (on concert evening) - Hotel - 2x Transfers Hotel - Beach - Hotel About myself: I am Trixie! 2
Valletta
Day 2-3
The day of the concert! Today we will take it easy but once we head to Valletta we will do a walk about and visit various sites. For those who want to enter the St John's Co Cathedral can do so whilst others can go shopping, have a coffee or walk around on their own. Later on we will head to the concert area. Take easy shoes with you. Overnight in the booked hotel in St Julians
3
Golden Bay
Day 3-4
Even though we might get back a bit later after the concert in Valletta we will get up early, take are swim gear with us (water too) and go the wonderful little beach of Golden Bay. Depending if there is any wind we may swap the beach for more comfort.
4
Mellieha Beach Bay
Day 4-5
Heading on over to the 'largest beach of Malta' being Mellieha Bay. Since it is a Saturday we will head out early again to avoid the exodus to the beach as it's the last weekend before school starts again. The beach is shallow at the start so it's a safe place, including safety lines and dedicated sporting areas.
5
Malta International Airport
Day 5
Departure day for those that are not extending their stay. If we manage we will head on down to the fishing village of Marsaxlokk (say; Marsa-sjlok) before going to the airport. Here you find the Sunday market with a lot of fresh fish but also good souvenirs to take home like fresh cookies and sweets.
