What's special?
special 1 -month trip led by industry expert
special Authentic, immersive experiences
special Focus on art, history & culture
Are you a seasoned digital nomad who loves exploring art, history and culture? Are you looking for a high-end co-working trip that delves deep into a city's essence? Join me in Madrid for the month of October and discover the uniqueness of Spain! This trip is designed to enrich our experiences and really get to know the city. You'll have your own studio apartment in the city center, a one-month co-working pass, and a choice of fun experiences and adventures. We'll spend the evenings at street-side cafés sipping wine and enjoying tapas. We'll tour the Prado and learn about art from an expert. We'll take in a flamenco or zarzuela show (Spain's answer to opera.) On the weekends, we'll do day trips to vineyards and olive farms. We'll dine with locals and bike through the countryside.

I'm a 40-something British/American living in Spain. I've travelled the world (85+ countries) and lived overseas for most of my adult life - US, Thailand, UK, Italy and now Spain. I've worked as a tour guide since college and, most recently, I was a destination scout for a company that runs trips for digital nomads. I know travel and have a track-record of designing top-rated trips that people love! Outside of work, I'm an avid hiker, photographer and foodie. I regularly do street photography workshops around the world and just completed my first Camino de Santiago (yes, I will do more!) I love to travel, (obviously!) and am always looking for new travel buddies!

Each guest will have their own studio apartment within a 20-min walk of the co-work and other guests. Apartments are located in a safe, vibrant, central neighbourhood full of cafés, restaurants, shops and things to do. Each is fully furnished with strong Wi-Fi and a washing machine, and has been carefully chosen to meet high quality standards. I am looking forward to working together and exploring Madrid after working hours!

Trip Itinerary
1

Madrid

Day 1-28
During the week, we have access to a local co-work for all our professional needs. After work, we'll meet for drinks and tapas on the terraces of neighborhood cafés or maybe join the Madrilenos for an evening 'paseo' (stroll.) There might be live music, book launches, wine tastings, art shows or evening exhibits - we'll check the 'What's Happening' and see what looks fun!
2

Madrid

Day 28-29
On the weekends, we'll escape the city and explore the areas around Madrid. We'll have the chance to do custom tours and experiences, like visiting a vineyard and an olive farm. There's bike trips and hiking in the mountains where Hemmingway's For Whom the Bell Tolls is set. We can also a visit a studio where hand-crafted Spanish guitars are made. We could also plan day trips to Toledo or Salamanca, or overnights to Seville, Barcelona or Cordoba. The Canary Islands are also a grate adventure for those who can spare a few days off work!
