Trip Itinerary

New Delhi
Day 1-2
The capital of India, New Delhi, for me, is also the capital of food in India ;). It is going to be great! We will arrive in peace, let the jet lag die down and then go out Sightseeing. Connaught Place, Red Fort, Lotus Temple, Qutub Minar and on and on, we will not have a chance to get bored here. Since New Delhi will be our trip ending point too, you will get a good time to even shop for gifts for your loved ones before leaving India. ;) So in the beginning New Delhi will be our spot to come out from jet lag however if you want to see the city and go around, you are most welcome. 🤗 On the 2nd day in the afternoon, we will leave for Rishikesh, either by a minibus or taxi, and reach our hotel in Rishikesh by night time.

Rishikesh
Day 2-5
Rishikesh is a city in India’s northern state of Uttarakhand, in the Himalayan foothills beside the Ganges (Ganga) River. As most of you will know, the Ganges (Ganga) is considered a holy river. The city offers beautiful temples and ashrams with an everlasting view of the Ganga and Himalayas. Rishikesh is renowned as a center for studying yoga and meditation. We will have a lot of things to do here, visiting from The Beatles Ashram to river rafting, riverside camping and much more.

Manali
Day 5-9
Manali is a high-altitude Himalayan resort town in India’s northern Himachal Pradesh state. Situated in the middle of the Himalayas this place has my heart ❤️ We will be staying in one of the many home stays here for 4 nights and visit different places around the city, go trekking, visit one of my friends and his family in the region and much more. 😍

Jaipur
Day 9-11
Jaipur is the capital of India’s Rajasthan state. It evokes the royal family that once ruled the region in 1727, and founded what is now called the Old City, or “Pink City” for its trademark building color. We will roam around the city witnessing all the historical monuments. Amer Fort, City Palace, Hawa Mahal, Etc along with the diverse Rajasthani food 🥘 😍

Agra
Day 11-13
The City of Taj Mahal, Agra is situated on the banks of the Yamuna River in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh about 230 km from New Delhi. We will take a walk on the campus of the masterpiece built with ivory-white marble, built for the wife of, Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, Mumtaz. One of the 2 days we will also take a walk in the iconic Agra fort as well, along with having to taste one of the best sweets found in Agra called Petha. 😍

Varanasi
Day 13-17
Varanasi is a city in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh dating to the 11th century B.C. Regarded as the spiritual capital of India. The city draws Hindu pilgrims who bathe in the Ganges River’s sacred waters and perform funeral rites. Along the city's winding streets are some 2,000 temples, including Kashi Vishwanath, the “Golden Temple,” dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva. Every evening here happens Aarti (Prayer in Hindi) on the river banks in which hundreds of devotees take part. One of these days we will also take part in the Aarti.

New Delhi
Day 17-20
As promised, towards the end of our trip we will have almost three days in Delhi to roam around the city witnessing and experiencing the history, streets, food, people, markets, etc in the capital of my country. On day 21 of our trip will come the hard part of saying goodbyes. Saying goodbyes are never easy but I am sure by then we will have so many beautiful memories to take back home. ❤️
