Guided trip
This trip is designed for artists who have experience in drawing and want to improve their skills in comics even more. Being a student of art, design, or illustration course at any institute is not necessary for the course, but it would be very helpful if you had already tried to draw comics yourself even if it wasn’t that successful yet (we'll do everything together to change it). By the end of the course, you will get technical skills improvements and figure out how to be consistent as an illustrator (artist) in discipline, vision, community support, motivation-wise. WHAT IS THIS COURSE/TRIP ABOUT? What’s so special about comics? How do they differ from other types of art? How do panels and bubbles work in comics? How can you travel through time with the help of comics? What are the areas of comics application and how can you use comics in your art practice? We will get acquainted with the Language and philosophy of comics and find out how different stories can be told with the help of sequential art, as well as try to create different comics ourselves and get to know this secret world from the inside. BY THE END OF THE TRIP YOU: 1. Get technical skills improvements 2. Feel professional growth 3. Practice how to present your work better to clients 4. Figure out how to be consistent as an illustrator (artist) in discipline, vision, community support, motivation-wise. 5. Enrich your portfolio with a course project 6. Assume the creative landscape of the city 7. Meet people from your industry and build new connections WHO IS ORGANIZING THIS CAMP?
