Sölden is the perfect destination for a hiking holiday in autumn! Let us climb up to Gaislachkogelbahn together to see the place where Spectre with James Bond was made and breathe the fresh alpine air in the Zirbenwald. Mountainbiking and rock climbing (via ferrata) in this unique mountain scenery will be so much fun! Moreover, we unwind in the wellness area of our accomodation, visit the thermal bath Aqua Dome and feast on delicious alpine cuisine like spinach dumplings and pulled pancake with apple sauce.

About me: Hello, I am Kristina! I have been to Sölden already in summer and enjoyed it a lot. That's why I cannot wait to show this region to you as well! What I like to do during this trip: - getting up early, around 7 or 8 a.m. - hiking and rock climbing (nothing too challenging, but we might be on the way for some hours and go up to 3000 m altitude) - play card and board games or go to the karaoke bar in the evening

Accommodation: The accommodation is an apartment with a very modern yet cozy design and wooden elements as well. We will also have a kitchen, spa and pool on the roof! I will freshly prepare the breakfast every morning and for the evening we have the choice of cooking together or eating out in different restaurants in town. Are you interested in joining me? Soelden

Day 1-5

Wednesday, 20th September On our first day, we will arrive in Sölden and check in at the apartment. Depending on your arrival time and the weather, we might do a first hike to an alp nearby and have some coffee or pulled pancake while enjoying the sun! In the evening, we enjoy the wellness area until it closes. Later, we get to know each other while having some traditional Tyrolian food.

Day 5

Thursday, 21st September Today we hike up the mountain to get a feel of the alpine scenery. Stunning views will accompany us on our way to the top. There, we first visit 007 Elements and then enjoy a coffee, some drinks or food. If you prefer, you can bring a packed lunch as well. Later, we will go down by cable car and have some offtime to get ready for dinner. Today, we are going to cook together and later, we play traditional card games together.

Ötztaler Gletscher

Day 5

Friday, 22nd September Today we are going to see the glacier! Either we are going to rent a bike, e-bike or use the bus, this is up to us as well as the weather. Bring warm clothes as it can be quite chilly around the glacier! The everlasting snow is quite impressive, though! Today, we are going to have dinner at home and go to Ötzis Tanzstadl for Karaoke later.

Zirbenwald

Day 5

Saturday, 23rd September Today we take the bus to Obergurgl to hike in the natural protected area of Zirbenwald. Did you know that these trees are up to 300 years old? Optional: There is a via Ferrata nearby (intermediate). If you like, you can bring or borrow your gear, and we do it together. After a stop at Zirbenwald, we go back down to the valley. We may have some off time that we can use to pack, share skills, or reflect on the trip. The dinner today will be in my favorite pizzeria in Austria, which is just a few steps away from our accommodation!

AQUA DOME - Tirol Therme Längenfeld

Day 5

Sunday, 24th September Today it is time to check out! After a special Sunday breakfast, we can pack our things and take the bus down to get back to the Aqua Dome. We enjoy some time there (3h are included in the Ötztal card) and you can stay longer if you like. Afterwards, everyone travels home individually. I hope you enjoyed your trip! See you again soon :)
