Welcome, fellow adventurers! ๐Ÿค ๐Ÿง—๐Ÿผโ€โ™‚๏ธ I'm Kostas, your dedicated tour leader, and I'm thrilled to invite you on an extraordinary journey through the enchanting landscapes of Madagascar.๐ŸŒ As someone who is passionate about exploration and creating unforgettable memories, I have curated a one-of-a-kind experience that promises to immerse you in the unparalleled beauty and cultural richness of this fourth largest island in the world. We journey on largely quiet roads through a landscape of dramatic highland plains, unique rock formations and natural swimming pools. We pause to visit the lush chain of rainforest in the Andasibe National Park and the unique limestone formation with deep canyons and high cathedrale. Apart from its natural treasures, the nation is also rich in culture and the many ethnic groups with fascinating traditions contribute to the melting-pot that is Madagascar. Our tour is rewarded by a day to relax on the idyllic white sand beach of Morondava on the coast, scattered with palms and protected by an offshore coral reef. Madagascar is one of the worldโ€™s poorest countries and a degree of flexibility and improvisation is required at times. The tourist infrastructure in Madagascar is still new and some services are limited. It is not unusual for there to be changes to accommodation or internal flights and for this reason, the order of the itinerary (but not the content) may sometimes have to be changed. However, what tourism does exist is of a pleasantly good standard and you may be impressed by the level of services in some of the places we stay. Trip Highlights โœ…โœ…โœ… โ€ข Lush agricultural land of the north with paddy fields and fruit orchards โ€ข Antsirabbe, the arts and crafts capital of Madagascar โ€ข Andasibe National Park, the unique place to obrserve the largest lemur Indri Indri โ€ข Tsingy National Park, with its amazing limestone formations, โ€ข Dense rainforest of the east coast of Madagascar โ€ข White sand beaches of the fishermanโ€™s village of Morondava โ€ข Local villages and ethnical groups โ€ข Crossing of the Tsirihihina River โ€ข Baobab Avenue

Passionate about exploring the world and sharing the joy of discovery with others, I am an avid traveler and certified guide with a diverse range of experiences in some of the most captivating destinations worldwide.

Hotels & Lodges ๐Ÿ โ›บ๏ธ We use tourist class hotels throughout the trip. The hotels are simple 2-3 star hotels and nice lodge in the middle of the nature but very comfortable. Most of the hotels have mosquito nets in the rooms. Please note that although all of the hotels are said to have a reliable electricity and water supply there may be instances in which you experience some gaps in supply โ€“ this is more a reflection of life in Madagascar than the standard of the hotel. Please be aware that some hotels do not have 24hr electricity, and in some, hot water is not always available. There is Wi-Fi in most of the hotels but often this is only in the communal areas and not in the rooms. Single accommodation is available on this trip for a supplement. Food & Transport ๐Ÿ”๐Ÿฅค Eating & Drinking The food in Madagascar is generally of a food quality, particularly so by the coast where the seafood is excellent. A one-course lunch/dinner should cost EUR6-8 while a three-course lunch/dinner should cost. Any questions about the trip? You can let me know in the Q&A section!
