Discover the Paradise of the Gilis: Gili Trawangan, Gili Air, and Gili Meno - Lombok to Bali Adventure

💗 Day 1 💗 16 September - Lombok Airport: The driver will pick you up from the airport to our hostel. It will be a 2 hour ride. - Hostel in Senggigi: We will stay in a backpacker hostel for 1 night. The rooms are full of bunk beds and you can tell me whether you want to book a bunk bed in a mixed genders room or an all woman room but I will be staying in their private room because I have to pray on the floor and it would be kind of weird if people walk around while I pray. The hostel has an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, a terrace, and a restaurant. I will be having lunch and dinner at the hostel because it's kind of far from any other restaurants. Among the facilities at this property are a shared kitchen and luggage storage space, along with free WiFi throughout the property. At the hostel, all rooms include a closet. All rooms feature air conditioning and a desk. The accommodation offers a vegetarian or halal breakfast. Mentigi Beach is a 5-minute walk while Kecinan Beach is 0.6 miles from the hostel.

💗 Day 2 💗 17 September - Private transfer by boat from our hostel to Gili Trawangan Gili Trawangan is the largest and most popular of the three islands. It has a vibrant nightlife to keep you entertained once the sun goes down. With a wide collection of restaurants and bars, you’ll never be short of entertainment here. - The only transportation that is available in Gili Trawangan and other Gili islands are bike rentals and horse carriage. I went there in 2022 and the single bike costs Rp. 75,000/day while the tandem bike costs Rp. 150,000. Some of the road isn't paved so expect not a smooth bike ride (sandy or full of pebbles). The horse carriage costs above Rp. 100,000 (depends on where you go). The whole island is small so we can also walk. Note: I'm not a very good bike rider so if we decided to rent a bike kindly get a tandem bike please or else you gotta wait for me because I don't have the same pace as you 🥺

💗 Day 3 💗 18 September Ideas on what to do on Gili Trawangan: - Explore the island - Chill at the beach - Visit the Gili Trawangan beach swings - Snorkeling (I'm thinking of renting a small boat to snorkel and do islands hopping in Gili Air because it's the least developed island and there's not much to do there) - Scuba Diving (I never do this before) - Stroll on different shops - Enjoy the night life

💗 Day 4 💗 19 September - Check out Gili Trawangan hotel - Private transfer by boat from Gili Trawangan to Gili Meno Situated only some 20 minutes from Senggigi Beach by speedboat on the west coast of Lombok island, Gili Meno is one of three islands now gaining worldwide popularity. In the local Sasak language, “gili” means island. So take note that there are many “gilis” around Lombok that are either stand-alone or are in cluster.

💗 Day 5 💗 20 September Ideas on what to do on Gili Meno: - Explore the island - Chill at the beach - Visit Gili Meno turtle sanctuary - Horse riding on the beach - Watching birds at Gili Meno bird park - Visit Asin Lake and The Mangrove Forest - Snorkeling (I'm thinking of renting a small boat to snorkel and do islands hopping in Gili Air because it's the least developed island and there's not much to do there) - Scuba Diving (I never do this before)

💗 Day 6 💗 21 September - Check out from Gili Meno hotel - Private transfer by boat from Gili Meno to Gili Air Gili Air is one of the three Gili Islands just of the coast of Lombok. The tiny island is surrounded by white sand, turquoise water, and great underwater life. Gili Air is all about laid-back living.
