About me! Meet Your South African Hosts: Natz and Craig South Africa runs in our veins, and we're thrilled to share our passion for this remarkable country with you. Our dream is to unveil the sheer beauty of our shores, leaving you wonderstruck and eager for more South African adventures. We're here to ensure every logistical detail is meticulously handled – think of me, Natz, as the Type A Lawyer making it all seamless. Craig, my life partner and CoProTripLeader, is the ultimate make-a-plan man, effortlessly managing the practical aspects of our journey. His warm personality is a magnet for those he meets. Natz, with MasterChef aspirations, guarantees scrumptious culinary experiences, while Craig, the sporty one, leads hikes and biking excursions. Together, we're lovers of life, beauty, and laughter, and our goal is to optimize every aspect of your travel experience. Natz will be the one with a flower in her hair and a laugh that's contagious; Craig is the quieter of the duo, renowned for his cocktails and braai (barbecue) skills. As remote workers who love to explore, we're seeking TripMates who need to balance work with adventures. Whether it's meeting penguins at Boulders Beach, hiking Table Mountain, exploring Robben Island and Seal Island, or taking the scenic Chapman's Peak route, we'll make weekends memorable with communally-inspired adventures. We can enjoy breakfast at a cozy local cafe, sunrise yoga on the beach, or even host a creative cocktail-making competition followed by a South African braai, complete with storytelling around a crackling fire. Your South African adventure with us promises a perfect blend of work and play.

Cape Town Accommodations: Cape Town, renowned as one of the world's most stunning cities, offers the perfect setting for your South African adventure. According to Cape Town Tourism, "Camps Bay is the playground of the 'it' crowd," with its white sandy beaches, tidal pools, and lively strip of restaurants, clubs, and hotels. For the first ten nights, we call a breathtaking villa our home, perched within a few hundred meters of the ocean's edge and just moments away from the beach and various activities. We offer various room options within this luxurious villa, accommodating a maximum of 10 guests: 1. Option 1: Couples will relish the luxurious Master Bedroom Suite, featuring a double bed, sea views, a balcony, and an ensuite bathroom (1 room available for 2 TripMates). 2. Option 2: Couples will find comfort in a Bedroom Suite with a double bed and ensuite bathroom (2 rooms available for 4 TripMates). 3. Option 3: Solo travelers will appreciate a double bed with an ensuite bathroom (2 rooms available for 4 TripMates). 4. Option 4: Solo travelers open to room-sharing with another TripMate can opt for a single bed with an ensuite bathroom (1 room available for 2 TripMates). Daily housekeeping on weekdays is included for your convenience. We've carefully separated room configuration options to provide individual pricing for each selection. Ballito Accommodations: Ballito, our beloved hometown, is often referred to as paradise, and for good reason. With a four-kilometer boardwalk, breathtaking sunrises, winter whale-watching, and daily dolphin sightings along the renowned Dolphin Coast, it's a place we're proud to call home. Our beachfront villa offers an idyllic setting, with the sound of waves lulling you to sleep and warm Indian Ocean waters inviting you to swim, surf, and enjoy other aquatic activities. Add gourmet dining and Padel Tennis to the mix, and you have the perfect escape, just a 20-minute drive from King Shaka International Airport. Within our luxurious Beachfront Villa, which accommodates a maximum of 12 guests, we offer a range of room options: 1. Option 1: Couples can savour an oceanfront Bedroom Suite with a king bed, sea views, a balcony, and an ensuite bathroom (3 rooms available for 6 TripMates). 2. Option 2: Couples can enjoy a slightly smaller Bedroom Suite with a king bed, slight ocean views, and an adjacent bathroom (1 room available for 2 TripMates). 3. Option 3: Solo travelers can unwind in a slightly smaller Bedroom Suite with a king bed, slight ocean views, and an adjacent bathroom (1 room available for 1 TripMate). 4. Option 4: Solo travelers can opt for a bunk bed with an ensuite bathroom (2 rooms available for 2 TripMates). 5. Option 5: Solo travelers willing to share a room with another TripMate can choose a bunk bed with an ensuite bathroom (2 rooms available for 4 TripMates). Our accommodations in Ballito include daily housekeeping on weekdays and, similar to Cape Town, we've categorized room configuration options to provide individual pricing for your convenience. ** OPTION C = COUPLES ACCOMMODATION. ** Please note that selecting this Option C for the South Africa Coworking Adventure for Digital Nomads means that you are choosing to JoinMyTrip as a TripMate who is part of a Couple joining the Trip together with a normal Private Bedroom and their own Bathroom [not shared accommodation or ablutions] - so this is Option 2 Accommodation in Cape Town and Option 1 and 2 Accommodation in Ballito on a first-join first-choose basis. Trip is priced per TripMate, and the couple must join as 2 TripMates **

Cape Town

Day 1-11
Discover the Best of Cape Town in 10 Days Our Beachfront Villa in Camps Bay offers a dreamy location just steps from the beach – we will be 700 foot from the glorious white-sand palm-fringed beach, under 1.5 miles from Lion’s Head and the iconic Table Mountain Cableway, and within 4 miles of the hedonist delight that is the V&A Waterfront. On your day of arrival, Cape Town International Airport is only 15.5 miles from our Villa. As Digital Nomads, we will spend whatever portion of the days is required by TripMates connecting with the outside world – we have free WiFi and internet services throughout the home, and sufficient workspaces. We could commence our days with yoga on the beach or breakfast alongside our private swimming pool. During the late afternoon, consider an exhilarating sunset hike up Lion’s Head, a cooling cocktail sundowner in the bustle of bars within easy walking distance on Victoria Road, a BBQ dinner poolside or a more gourmet cuisine affair in one of numerous fine-dining options along the Atlantic Seaboard or in the V&A Waterfront {I’m affectionately known to my friends as The Cocktail Queen, I am a wannabe MasterChef, and Craig and I are both foodies, so we’ve got your tastebuds and appetite covered}. Our Group can select from a plethora of pay-to-play additional activity options :  from bird’s-eye view in a Helicopter Tour of the Peninsula to launching oneself in a Tandem Paraglide off Signal Hill  a ferry across to Robben Island, where our past President Nelson Mandela was incarcerated for 18 years  a Hike along the Diagonal Route up Table Mountain, from our location suburb of Camp’s Bay – very Instagram-worthy breathtaking scenery, the “I climbed up Table Mountain” bragging rights, ticking another Natural Wonder of the World off your Bucket List, witnessing the unique 2-mile plateau forming the tabletop, being rendered awestruck by the grandeur of the unparalleled panoramic views. Table Mountain Cableway recommended for the journey down!  a cruise in a rental car or aboard a scooter or in a sidecar along Chapmans Peak Drive, all the way through to the south western tip of Africa, the lighthouse at Cape Point – a Nature Reserve famed for its pristine beaches, dramatic hiking trails and dazzling display of flora and fauna  visiting the African Penguins at Boulder Beach, followed by lunch at the Brass Bell Restaurant in the historic fishing village of Kalk Bay, or visiting Seal Island off Hout Bay by charter boat, followed by lunch at Mariner’s Wharf Harbour Front Emporium to delight in South African seafood  a visit to the scenic and savoured Cape Winelands, including the Franschhoek Valley hop-on hop-off Tram and Bus Tour  whatever your wanderlust soul demands, from sunbathing to Great White Shark Cage-Diving, and literally anything in-between!!

Dolphin Coast

Day 11-20
Ballito, KwaZulu-Natal: 9 Nights of Coastal Bliss As we depart from Cape Town, a short 2-hour domestic flight (the cost of which is included in the Trip Cost) brings us to Ballito's King Shaka International Airport, a charming coastal town nestled on KwaZulu-Natal's North Coast. A mere 20-minute drive after landing, warm Indian Ocean waters await, with playful Bottlenose Dolphins often joining you in the waves along the famous Dolphin Coast. Our Beachfront Villa in Ballito is a true gem, offering direct access to Tiffany’s Beach and abundant natural light, creating the ideal workspace. You'll find yourself one step away from the golden sandy shores, with waves breaking just meters away. The Ballito vibe is relaxed, with less traffic, cost-effective dining, and fewer crowds, allowing for laid-back beach days and oceanfront relaxation. It will take strong willpower to make you resist the desire to simply laze away the gorgeous sunshiny days on your Pool Lounger on the private wooden deck with waves breaking meters away. Our time in Ballito may be as relaxed or as action-packed as TripMates desire, with these pay-to-play additional activity options :  Sugar Rush Park and Holla Trails for the adrenaline-junkies – mountain-biking or trail-running over 340 kilometres of marked trails, Treetop Trails aerial obstacle course, al fresco breakfast or brunch  the Hidden Forest Wildlife Sanctuary for rescued exotic primates – walk on the wild side through this 23-hectare hidden indigenous forest sanctuary. Observing the Madagascan Ring-Tailed Lemur in traditional yoga posture is baffling  the Ballito Promenade is a wooden boardwalk stretching along the beachfront along the shores of the original lower Ballito Village – this is the place to exercise, grab a morning caffeine hit or dine in one of the many ocean-view Restaurants  bungee-jump at the Moses Mabhida Stadium built for the 2010 Soccer World Cup  a day visit to uShaka Marine World on Durban’s Golden Mile is highly recommended – a world-class 16-hectare theme park with a capacity of 4.6 million gallons of seawater containing 300 species of marine life and 10,000 sea creatures. uShaka comprises Sea World – Africa’s Largest Aquarium, Wet n Wild - Africa’s Highest Slide Waterpark, Cargo Hold fine-dining experience amidst sharks, Sea Animal Encounter Island and a Lazy River tubing experience meandering through the park  have you ever sheltered a burning desire to learn how to surf? Surfing lessons in the mild foamies of the warm-watered Willard Beach can easily be arranged  indulge in a Spa Day, get a Retail Therapy fix at Ballito Junction Mall, enjoy a gelato while feeling the soft sand between your toes, play a round of Golf on world-renowned local Golf Courses, learn the skill of Kitesurfing (Craig is a crazy addict of this sport), splash your way through a Snorkelling Safari, feel the exhilaration of flying along the coast in a Microlight, visit Grumpy’s Bush and Beach Restaurant just north of Ballito at Blythedale Beach for delicious seafood and slurpalicious beverages set in the trees of an indigenous coastal forest only paces away from the beach We could hire a vehicle or 2, a scooter or 3, or ride in 3-wheeler taxicabs called Tuk-Tuks – our Group will determine this, in formulating the extra excursions
