We are a French Parisian couple but we also love the South of France. My name is Solenne and I am planning a trip where we can all have fun and relax at the beach while discovering some of the most beautiful Southern French-speaking towns. This would be a chill vacation where we would enjoy French and Meditarean food, go to the beach often, enjoy fun activities and visit historical or cultural streets or parts of the cities. I planned some activities but you are free to do whatever you want or suggest other ideas. We want everyone to enjoy their trip. Costs included in this trip : - Accommodation (double rooms or twin rooms in Airbnbs) - Transportation - Activities - Travel insurance (only if you are a German or Austrian resident) Not included : - Transportation from and to your home country - Your meals and drinks - Eventual extras if you want to do activities not mentioned in the itinerary. We can decide on the spot for food or snacks and other extra costs and split them later during the trip. Nice
Day 1-2
We'll meet either at the appartment or at the train station depending on everyone's arrival time (if some people are leaving from Paris, we can go together). The first day should be about getting to know each other and unloading from your journey, but if we have time we'll go walk on 'La promenade des anglais", one of the most famous sights of Nice.

Castle Hill
Day 2-3
On our second day, we'll eat at a traditionnal French restaurant and then go all the way up to Castle Hill, a famous and beautiful viewpoint. There used to be a castle there, but it was destroyed in the 18th century. Nonetheless, it is an easy and enjoyable hike. Antique remains where found there. If you don't want to hike, there is also an elevator. We will then visit Nice's Old Town, which is its historical and cultural center. There, we can see some beautiful Baroque architecture and go to Palais Lascari Museum. The old town is a a very lively place and in the evening, we'll eat there and maybe enjoy some live music.

Place Massena
Day 3-4
Nice is also famous for it's local market where you can find food, clothes, artisanal work and even flowers. We'll start by visiting the Villa Massena, a beautiful museum and then we'll go to the market and buy some food for our lunch. We'll buy it from authentic French farmers and producers, which means our lunch will be great. We deserve some rest, and we should spend our afternoon relaxing and having fun at the beach. Why not buy some ice creams and eat in one of the many seaside restaurants ?

Nice day trip
Day 4-5
On our fourth day, a car will come pick us up at our Airbnb around 9am and we will spend the entire day visiting traditionnal or popular towns of the South of France. We'll visit picturesque towns of the French countryside, also known as Provence, but also well known cities like Cannes. Our guide will speak English, so no worries. Let's all discover the French Provence with a local expert.

Menton
Day 5-6
On this day, we'll take the bus and go to Menton, a beautiful seaside town that is not unlike the Italian Riviera. With its beautiful colourful houses, Menton is a magnificent sight. In fact, many say it is the perfect mix between French, Spanish and Italian culture. We'll arrive during the afternoon and take some time to unpack everything. Then, we'll go the the Sablettes beach and just relax. Maybe we'll take a look at the port. This is basically a free day, so you can do anything. We'll eat together at a nice meditarrean restaurant on the evening, and maybe go out for some drinks.

Menton
Day 6-7
On our first entire day in Menton, we'll visit its old town which was founded by pirates in the 13th century. We will take our time and enjoy the beautiful scenery and lively atmosphere. You can except colourful houses, beautiful villas and baroque building. We'll eat in the neighbourhood. We'll spend the afternoon in Menton's botanical gardens. It was built in the 19th century and it is known for its exotic trees and ponds. We can choose together what we do in the evening.

Port de Menton Garavan
Day 7-8
Let's go for a boat trip together !! But first, we'll go to the Hall market and enjoy local products sold by nice local farmers. We'll then embark on a boat run by local sailors and enjoy a beautiful view of the bay. We'll even see the Italian coast and some picturesque towns, as well as a more "wild" nature. We can spend the rest of the day at the beach or visiting the fabulous Jean Cocteau museum, depending on what you prefer. We can enjoy some nice cocktails in the evening.

Old Monaco Museum
Day 8-9
We are leaving France ! After spending around 15mn in a train, we'll arrive in Monaco, one of the smallest countries on Earth. After unpacking everything, we'll head to its Old Town, which dates back to the 6th century. It is know as " Le Roche". We'll spend our afternoon visiting and maybe stop for a drink, an icecream or even for dinner. We'll also visit the Old Town museum.

Day 9-10
On the morning, we'll go see the royal palace and Monaco's harbor Then, we have a few options (not included in the cost) : - We can sample some local specialties at the daily market - We can go to Monaco's famous casino - We can go to the beach - We can discover the artistic Sculpture Walk - We can go shopping - We can go to the Oceanographic Museum Let's decide together and combine some of these options. We'll spend our evening together enjoying high-quality food and drinks and just sharing a good moment as a group.

Day 10
It's already our last day together... What a shame. Let's share some of our best memories of the trip over breakfast or lunch, depending on everyone's depart time. Maybe we'll be able to go for a last activity in the morning.
