What's special?
special Relaxed roadtrip with me as your driver
Hello, Tripmates! I am Ramon, a hospitality enthusiast. I love people, culture, travel, and cuisines. I come from humble origins in Jakarta and have built myself up personally and professionally by facing learning curves. I started my career in Asia, working my way up from an entry-level role to leadership at relatively fast pace. About the trip: Our week-long adventure is designed to immerse ourselves in the buzzing beach culture of Canggu, explore Bali's authentic foods, bars, and beach clubs in the surrounding Seminyak area, sunbathe on the beach, enjoy a walking retreat in Jatiluwih rice terraces, visit Antonio Blanco museum in Ubud, witness the sunset at Tanah Lot, watch kecak and fire dance at Uluwatu Temple. These are all included in our trip plan. During our days on the island of the gods, Bali, there will be five of us traveling together, with me driving a car for entire duration of our trip. We will make use of Waze application and reach decisions through team consensus, making the journey even more enjoyable.

It's us, boys and girlsโ€”five of usโ€”fully alive, deeply committed, fearless, joyful, courageous, and kind. We are steeped in the deep knowing of who we are and what is ours to do ( trip mates that would like to cook for us are welcome ). Likes to hang out - our after-stop nights are cool for a night out and trip mates can make group decisions when necessary.

About the Accommodation: We will settle in either a house , economy hotel or villa accommodation type, with a refreshing private pool, an enclosed bathroom, a fully equipped room, and a well-manicured tropical garden space. This is the place you will easily call home. This accommodation has access to: โ€ข Swimming pool โ€ข Sun loungers โ€ข Enclosed living room with TV โ€ข Single occupant room โ€ข Bedroom with ensuite bathroom โ€ข Parking space You can let me know if you have questions in the Q&A section!

Seminyak

Day 1
Day 1 - We will start browsing Canggu dine spots, trying lunch at "Mades Warung Berawa." Born as a local food stall (also known as warung) back in 1969, Made's Warung is a legend in Bali's culinary scene. This family-run business has grown into an iconic restaurant where you can taste a wide range of authentic, local staples and western favorites. After lunch, we will head to "La Plancha Beach Club" for sunset drinks. Our favorite time of day combined with sunset tunes equals perfection ๐ŸŒž. If being in the heart of Bali's oceanfront action is your kind of thing, then Seminyak Beach is the place for us. After sunset, we go for a local dinner at "Warung Yess." Nasi campur is served buffet-style, allowing you to point to what you want from the glass cabinets. Balinese nasi campur (literally meaning mixed rice) is a favorite food among locals who typically dine on this bit-of-everything dish for breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner. Like the pick'n'mix of the Balinese dining world, it's an assortment of Indonesia's best bites. โœ…โ€Š What's included? โ€Š๐Ÿฅ— Lunch @ warung made ; 1 indonesian larger plate + 1 dessert + 1 mocktail ๐Ÿบ La plancha sunset ; 3 Bintang beer bottled ๐Ÿœ Dinner @ warung yess; 1 nasicampur + 1 sate + 1 dessert + 1 zero alcohol drink ๐Ÿš—โ€Š Transport

Jatiluwih Rice Terraces

Day 1-2
Day 2 - Morning brings us to a drive up to Jatiluwih for a walking retreat and photo opportunities. We'll trek through Bali's largest rice fields, immersing ourselves in fresh air, clear water, and interactions with local residents. Lunchtime at Gong Lounge will allow us to enjoy the picturesque surroundings of the stretched rice fields, leaving us with a magical experience upon arriving at Jatiluwih. After the trekking activity, our next stop will be Handara Gate, followed by a visit to the Temple of Lake Beratan and Banyumala Waterfall. This temple, situated in the middle of the lake, is a UNESCO World Heritage site and a must-see attraction in Bali. If we're fortunate, we might even witness some Hindu ceremonies taking place there. โœ…โ€Š What's included? ๐Ÿšโ€Š Lunch at Gong Jatiluwih ๐Ÿš—โ€Š Transport โ€Š๐ŸŽŸ๏ธโ€Š Jatiluwih trekking, Handara gate, Beratan temple & Banyumala waterfall tickets

Monkey Forest

Day 2-3
Day 3 - Morning begins with a visit to Ubud Monkey Forest, a nature reserve and temple complex in Ubud, Bali. It is home to approximately 340 monkeys known as long-tailed Macaques (Macaca fascicularis). The park is divided into four groups of monkeys, each occupying different territories. Sacred Monkey Forest is a popular tourist attraction, drawing over 10,000 visitors each month. Covering about a tenth of a square kilometer (approximately 27 acres), the forest boasts at least 115 different species of trees. Within Monkey Forest, you'll find the Pura Dalem Agung Padangtegal temple, a "Holy Spring" bathing temple, and another temple used for cremation ceremonies. Lunch will be at Nasi Kedewatan, which originates from village of Kedewatan in Gianyar, Bali. Nasi Kedewatan is a mixed rice dish filled with chicken meat and served with eggs, lawar, sate lilit, and sambal matah. The seasoning includes base genep, a mixture of galangal, turmeric, ginger, pepper, coriander, cloves, cardamom, mesui, jangu, onions, kesuna or garlic, and lemon grass. All spices are finely chopped on a cutting board, and then placed in the cavity of the cut chicken breast without splitting it. In afternoon, we'll visit Tanah Lot Temple, one of Bali's most important landmarks known for its unique offshore setting and stunning sunset backdrops. Perched on top of an outcrop amidst constantly crashing waves, Tanah Lot Temple is simply one of Bali's not-to-be-missed icons. โœ…โ€Š What's included? ๐Ÿฅ™โ€Š Set Lunch at Kedewatan Betutu ; 1 Course + 1 mocktail ๐Ÿš—โ€Š Transport โ€Š๐ŸŽŸ๏ธโ€Š Monkey forest & Tanah Lot entrance tickets

Uluwatu

Day 3-4
Day 4 - We recharge with the "Uluwatu" program. First, we'll sunbathe on Padang Padang Beach, then head for lunch, and finally, hang out at Single Fin Cliff Bar. This bar kick-started an unholy trend with its cult-like Sunday session. Teetering atop the Uluwatu clifftops overlooking the ocean, there's no better place to party until the wee hours with live music, big crowds, and the original surf crews mingling amongst the masses. Up next, we'll visit the sacred Uluwatu Temple, arguably Bali's most breathtaking temple with its ocean backdrop and dizzying perch. Pura Luhur Uluwatu is a must-visit if you're looking for awesome and cultural things to do in Uluwatu. Located high above crashing waves, this sacred temple was built for the spirits of the sea in the 10th century. It is laced with ancient architecture, intricate sacred sculptures, and hundreds of monkeys. Witnessing a traditional Balinese performance is a must, followed by securing a seat at the breathtaking Kecak Dance. The Kecak Dance is performed by over 100 men in an open-air amphitheatre, centered by plumes of fire. Expect hypnotic chanting, dancing, and dramatic movements. โœ…โ€Š What's included? ๐ŸŒˆBalangan Beach access ๐Ÿฅฃ Single fin Set Lunch 1 course + 1 Bintang beer ๐Ÿ’ณ Uluwatu temple & Kecak tickets ๐Ÿš• Transport
