I used to meet like-minded people to explore the area within hostels at shared meals, but this app makes it a lot easier!
About the accomodation: We will be staying in a hostel in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and Akko at great locations in these cities. We will share 2 rooms with 4 beds each, which means we will have 2 rooms only for our group! Each room has an attached bathroom and lockers for everyone to keep their belongings safe. Plus: breakfast is included! The hostels in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem also have a rooftop, bar, shared kitchen, lounge area and laundry room. Almost every night, they organize an event, such as a yoga class on the rooftop or jazz sessions that we can join.

Tel Aviv-Yafo
Day 1-3
Day 1: We’ll be arriving in Tel Aviv - each travel buddy will probably have a different flight schedule, so will get there at different times, but no worries! Our meeting point will be the hostel, where you can first check in, drop off your stuff, and enjoy your welcome drink. In the evening we will go out for an amazing local dinner all together. Day 2: We will start the day with a guided tour by a certified professional of Jaffa, the ancient port city out of which Tel Aviv has now grown, filled with boutique shops, galleries, and eateries. The tour covers the following highlights: Jaffa Clock Tower and Port, Mahmoudiya Mosque, Andromeda’s Rock, Ramses Gate, the Floating Orange Tree, Art Galleries, St. Peter’s Church, and more. The afternoon is free for you to explore the city or enjoy the beach, for which the weather in September is perfect. In the evening there will be a Jazz Jam Session in the bar of our hostel, which we can attend together.

Jerusalem
Day 3-5
Day 3: We’ll be heading to the holy city of Jerusalem, where we will join a guided tour of the old city. The tour will bring us to the Tower of David, Christian Quarter, Holy Sepulchre, Old City Markets, Muslim Quarter, Western Wall, Dome of the Rock, Al-Aqsa Mosque, Jewish Quarter, Byzantine Cardo Street, and the Armenian Quarter. We will have lunch at one of the 250 shops and street food stalls of the Machane Yehuda Market which is the beating heart of the city. You have time off in the afternoon to continue to explore the city and sites you are interested in. Optional program: Hummus workshop at the hostel in the late afternoon (this would then also be your dinner 😉) - additional fee of 15 euros. Pub-crawl leaving from the hostel at 21.00 - additional fee of 15 euro Day 4: On this day in the middle of the trip, you have a free day. I can give you tips on interesting places to visit and of course, we can decide to go there together. The day is free to offer room for unique tours that are optional. Optional program: - The Dead Sea Chill out from 12.30 to 17.30 – additional fee of 34 euros (the Dead Sea is the lowest place on earth 🤯) - Best of the West Bank Tour from 7.30 to 18.00 – additional fee of 97 euro - The tour to the West Bank covers Ramallah, Jericho, and Bethlehem. Acre
Day 5-6
Day 5: We’ll travel to Akko, a crusader city on the seaside with Unesco World Heritage status. It has impressive city walls and a citadel, which we will enter. We will stroll along the “shuk” where we will have lunch, and visit the port with the lighthouse, khan with the Ottoman clock tower, Al Jazzar Mosque and walk through the underground tunnels from the Crusader era. If time allows us and enough travel buddies are interested, we can take a boat ride from the port from where we can view the walled city from the outside. This will depend on availability and comes at an additional fee of 2.50 euros.

Tel Aviv-Yafo
Day 6-8
Day 6: We return to Tel Aviv to escape the Shabbat (Friday afternoon to Saturday evening) that closes down most of the shops, restaurants, and public transportation all over the country. The Romans called this the 8th wonder of the world 😋 Yet, Tel Aviv is the city that never sleeps! 💃🏻 In the afternoon you will have time off to relax on the beach or enjoy the optional program of the day. Optional program: - Florentine Graffiti Tour from 14.00 to 16.00 – additional fee of 23 euro - Pub-crawl leaving from the hostel at 21.00 – additional fee of 21 euro - Feel free to ask me about the details of the tour 😄 Day 7: On this last day, you have a free day. Maybe you need to do some souvenir shopping, try local food you didn’t get a chance to yet, or tick something off your bucket list in Tel Aviv. I can make suggestions if you like. The day is free to offer room for organized trips geared at nature and the desert that are optional (but highly recommended: I have done them before!) Optional program: - Judean Desert Jeep Tour from 6.30am to 12.00 at noon – additional fee of 80 euro OR - Masada, Ein Gedi & Dead Sea Tour from 6.30am to 17.00 – additional fee of 97 euro - Feel free to ask me about the details of the tour 😄 Let’s have dinner together to wrap up the trip and say goodbye to the group. Day 8: This day is intended as the travel day home because everyone will probably be flying at different times.
