Trip Itinerary
1
Zagreb
Day 1-2
Zagreb is the capital and largest city of Croatia, located in the northwestern part of the country. For a one-night stay, we will visit the historic Upper Town area, which features beautiful architecture, museums, and a stunning cathedral. Other must-see attractions include the colorful Dolac Market, the Museum of Broken Relationships, and the beautiful Maksimir Park. Finally, make sure to try some traditional Croatian cuisine, such as ćevapi or burek, at one of the city's many restaurants.
2
Plitvice Lakes National Park
Day 2
The bubbling, turquoise crystalline pools of Plitvice Lakes National Park comprise one of Croatia's most popular tourist destinations. Just a two-hour drive from Zagreb, the national park offers 50 acres of forest and lake. In summer, the park is lush with greenery. Wooden walkways and hiking trails traverse the porous karst limestone. This World Heritage Site is a veritable wildlife haven, home to everything from birds to boars and even bears. We will visit this National Park during our travels from Zagreb towards Split. And will have a stop for around 4/5 hours.
3
Split
Day 2-5
Thanks to its many former rulers (Roman, Austrian, Yugoslav, to name a few), Split is a European city unlike any other. What you get is a truly unique mix of architecture and history on every cobblestoned corner: ancient ruins, open-air flea markets, centuries-old cathedrals—it’s a city seemingly frozen in time. And just beyond you’ll find the Adriatic Sea, home to picturesque beaches and tranquil turquoise waters. I will organize hikes, pizza on the beach at sunset and the included boattrip!
4
Vis
Day 5
During our all inclusive speedboat trip we will visit different locations as Hvar, Vis and the Blue Lagoon, but as well Blue cave. The tour offers us free snorkeling gear, (soft)drinks, towels, breakfast and lunch.

Dubrovnik
Day 5-6
Walk along the ancient walls that surround Old Town to get a sweeping view of the city—dotted with Romanesque-Gothic monasteries, palaces, and plenty of terracotta rooftops, it’s the stuff of Game of Thrones dreams (it was filmed here, after all). We will visit the old town in the end of the day since it's a big tourist attraction in the middle of august. During our journey towards Dubrovnik you can enjoy the stunning views over the Adriatic sea. After Dubrovnik we will travel towards Montenegro.
7
Kotor
Day 6-9
Kotor is one of the highlights of Montenegro which is visited by more then 300.000 tourist per year. We will stay in the middle of the old town. All restaurants, hiking trails and other activities within reach. From Kotor you will have the possibility to do a day trip towards Durmitor National Park (not included).
8
Ulcinj
Day 9-12
The city of Ulcinj is our last destination where we will stay for 3 nights. But it will not be the last thing we see. The hostel we are staying organizes multiple activities as boat trips or sunset tours. Which are included in the price of this trip! As well on the last day I will pay dinner to celebrate our amazing adventure.
9
Podgorica
Day 12
After Ulcinj our trip is ending. There will be different possibilities for you to return home or continue traveling. From Ulcinj we are driving past the coastal town Bar. In Bar you can take a ferry towards Bari, Italy. In Italy you can easily travel by highspeed trains across the country. For instance with a interrail ticket. As well I can drop you off at the airport of Tivat or the airport of Podgorica. Multiple flight are leaving here to European destinations. You can travel by bus from Podgorica towards Zagreb. This is a 12 hour trip but not to expensive. As well you can continue your travel towards Albania or Serbia. Whatever you're up to, I hope that we will end our travels with a lot of memories and new friends.
