Why Co-work in Oaxaca? Because they have everything in full, is not for nothing one of my favorite regions in my country 😃 There is culture, history, archaeological interesting sites, myths, legends, delicious food, artistic ambiance, traditions, amazing landscapes, beautiful beaches, beautiful architecture and they have created Mezcal!! 👌😍😊😃😎 We would be staying at a very nice B&B Hotel a few minutes walk from beautiful downtown. Since it is a small Hotel it will be all for us, so the nice terraces and common areas will be more than enough for our "petit comité" but still getting all the services that comes with a Hotel. So it is great isn't it? We will have our private hotel! Every tripmate gets a private room that includes a continental breakfast (option to a more consistent breakfast on demand for 9 EUR/day). I would like to insist in the fact that the rooms are private with private bathroom and with very nice typical decoration from Oaxaca. That way everyone has enough privacy and space to rest and to work inside if you prefer. If not you can go in any of the common areas of the Hotel and make yourself like home ;) So it is a perfect place to co-work during the day and by the sunset go on a walk to the beautiful downtown in search for a nice restaurant, eat good mole, have a mezcal, have an ice cream and keep walking along the main street to see some handcraft stores or stands. And on weekends go for a little adventure on the surroundings hiking, sightseeing, etc. What do you think? Even if I am in love of this place there are still many things I haven't done like going to Hierve el Agua where during a weekend we could visit the amazing petrified cascades in beautiful colors it is one of a kind. (In one day it is done). Then we should also definitely go to Montealban one of the most important archaeological sites to visit, the landscapes up there are amazing 🤩 for some great pictures and the energy of this place it is something. Then if you are up to it we could do a little meditation to charge our body with the energy of this place. I love connecting with magical places like this one!🙌🤩 To visit this place we also only need one day to go and get back to the city. Also since I love mezcal and it happens to be a traditional drink from Oaxaca, I would love to share this with you and we should go one night on a tasting tour. Or if you prefer because you are a little tired of the day we could stay and have the tasting at home👌🙂 As I mentioned above Oaxaca is full of possibilities and their food is also worth to go into different places to taste some of their typical dishes because is part of the UNESCO World Heritage. So a visit to the traditional downtown markets as 20 de Noviembre and Benito Juarez are must do stops as well. I am a passionate of history, myths and legends so I would like to go on a night or day around the city but also there is a tour to go hiking to the Sierra Norte that is full of stories among nature. Just for the fun of it and to learn the stories they won't tell us in a tourist book...🤠 We will need a full day for it so I suggest we go on the weekend. And also on our last weekend we should go to Mitla "La ciudad de los muertos" in a beautiful village 1 hour of distance from Oaxaca city where we will enjoy of the archaeological site and also the folklore of this place in the streets and in it's artists workshops. Finally I love starting my days with morning meditations or process to activate and connect more with my inner self and get started with a nice grounding energy to have a great day! And if that is something you would like to do I can organize it for those that would be interested in. 😊 So here is a quick recap of what is included in the price: 1. Accommodation in a private room with private bathroom 2. Continental breakfast every morning (yogurt, coffee, milk, fruit, bread) 3. Transportation by car (taxi or other for tourism) 4. Entrance to the Sites 5. Meditation practices and energetic activation (it's optional to join, I'm doing it anyway ;)) 6. City Tours 7. Legends and stories tours Note: What is not included are your expenses on food and drinks or other possible activities that we could arrange spontaneously during the stay, since there are going to be lots of choices because of Guelaguetza Festival. I can't wait to share and re-discover all of this with curious, relaxed and fun mates!! 😊😁🙌 Are you coming? Hurry, there are limited spots!

Oaxaca

Day 1-11
Beautiful Oaxaca de Juarez! This city is the capital of Oaxaca and here is our base where we are sharing a nice house B&B in the colorful downtown and from here we are going to discover the culture, activities and delicious food that it has to offer. And also from here we are going to move to check the surroundings as Montealban, Hierve el Agua a hike to la Sierra Norte to learn about myths and legends among the nature in this place, etc. On the last 3 days of this trip "La Guelaguetza" is going to get sarted. It is the most important and popular period in the year to visit Oaxaca. "La Guelaguetza" is a traditional zapoteca and mexica festivity to honor the goddess of corn it is a prehispanic tradition that brings tourists of all over the world. Before that happens definitively we are going to the local markets to taste Mole and fusion cuisine if we are in a fancy mood too ;) a tasting of mezcal it is a must since it is a traditional drink that I love! Let's remember it is not for nothing that this cuisine is part of the Immaterial UNESCO World Heritage. Our afternoons painted by beautiful sunsets to enjoy at different spots in the city, traditional ice cream while doing great tours at night in search for legends and to discover the city since I am a passionate of history and myths. I've always loved the spirit of this city at night as other cities it throws such a different energy in the day from the night. Let's enjoy it! And here we will also just share smooth, nice and relaxed sunsets at the house talking, cooking, eating and getting to know each other a little better. I can't wait to meet you all!

Monte Albán

Day 11
I present to you Montealban! This archaeological site is a very special and mystical one. I love it! And you will see why ;) In the morning after breakfast we will leave to go to Montealban. Once there we will make a tour of the site (either guided or by our own we will decide that at that moment), you will also get free time for pictures and for going around by your own and I will also propose you to do a nice meditation with an energetic activation using the energy and inspiration of this beautiful place in the height surrounded by mountains. It's going to be great! After that we will take our way back to Oaxaca City.

Hierve el Agua

Day 11
This is Hierve el Agua! We will leave early in the morning to get to Hierve el Agua. As you can see is a place like no other in the world, this are the amazing petrified cascades in beautiful colors, is unique! A must do! I have never been there and I would love to discover it with you! We will make a tour around, we will have time to take nice pictures and to simply enjoy the landscapes. And before is too late, we will hit the way back to our colonial B&B in Oaxaca city.
4

Mitla

Day 11
Mitla the place of the dead! In the morning after breakfast we will take the way to Mitla. This is a beautiful mystical village that I've always wanted to visit. Is the home of an amazing Zapotec archaeological site with very particular artistic style that we don't find anywhere else in Mexico. This site came second in importance after Montealban. Here is the place where they would do ceremonial rituals for priests. So imagine the energy of this land! And the village is another great example of Oaxaca's culture and folklore full of artists and traditions. We shouldn't miss it! :) After eating we will hit eh way back to Oaxaca city.

Tlacolula de Matamoros

Day 11
We are actually going to "La Sierra Norte" in Tlacolula. This tour is going to be a great experience as well. We are going to be picked up at the hotel by the company that organize this tour, we will have approximately 1h 30 minutes of journey to get to Cuajimoloyas where we will start our trekking. Our first stop will be around the village of San Miguel del Valle which is surrounded by beautiful landscapes that are covered by myths and legends that we are going to be taught on our way to the Canal of Tlacolula. At the canal which is our second stop, we are taking the time for great pictures from the 360° lookout. From there we are going to follow the track that will take us to the cave known as "Cueva Iglesia" (the Church Cave) which is a natural formation that has the form of a Church. Of course, that place too, is all covered by legends that will also are going to be shared by our guides from local tales that come from the early 19th century. Our trek continues to the lookout known as "El Mono" and from there the descent begins until "La Neveria" which is a small dam where we are taking a break for a picnic and snacks with the relaxing sound of water. Once we are done we will start the ascend to the village Llano Grande where we are going to be picked up so we can return to our Hotel in Oaxaca City. I can't wait to go on this adventure with you!!
