You love nature and always wanted to see real cowboy work? You want to learn how to throw the lasso? So join me on my trip! Here you will see the chilean culture and the live of the chilean cowboys who live in the Ands! First we will have to seperate a herd of more than 1000 cows in the highest parts of the mountains and than we will bring our more than 50 wild horses from the mountains down! Everything will happen riding! But there is no riding experience necesary! In the price are all food and drinks included so while the tour you won‘t spent any more money!

Panimávida

Day 1-2
Here on our little farm will start our journey! You can arrive and sleep the first night in one of our guestrooms! You can try real traditional chilean food and enjoy the view over the mountains around! We will get ready for the tour, pack all our stuff and then we can leave in the next morning early

Laguna del Maule

Day 2-3
In the morning we will leave early with all our things by car to the higher parts of the mountains! Here will already wait my boyfriend with our horses and the mule which will Carry our food and sleeping bags! Here we will give you a small introducion about riding, our mule, how everything is planned! And then we already start riding! We will ride more or less 4-7 hours a day, but with a few breaks inbetween! At night we will cook a nice meak over the fire! In the afternoon we will already arrive at our first cowboy spot! Here are more than 1000 cows and bulls! So in the next morning we will start to seperate and cach them with the lasso!

Paso Pehuenche

Day 3-5
In the morning we will meet the others chilean cowboys who will help us with all the work! Today we will only ride to seperate the cattle so if you are tired of riding or not that experienced you can watch and enjoy the show! Or you just come by horse to look or help!Every hand is welcome! First we will bring all cattle into a closed place where we will seperate them to their original herds to their original owner! But this is not always that easy so for the cows which we cant get out like this, these we will have to catch them with the lasso! inbetween you will have time to chat with the lokals or help us to cook over the fire! At night we will do a big chilean barbecue as a thankyou for everybody who helped! So we will sit at the side of a fire, excange historys and enjoy the drinks and good meal! The next day will happen the same! So we will spent 2 days to help our friends with the cattle!

Laguna del Maule

Day 5-6
Today we will leave our friends and the cows to go to an other valley to meet with the dad of my boyfriend! With him together we will look for our herd of wild horses! But the whole day will be relaxed riding and enjoying the nature! We will habe lots of time to take some pictures and maybe see some Condors, the national bird of chile! Once we meet the dad of my boyfriend we will cook together and then go to bed!

Talca

Day 6-8
After taking breakfast and make our horses ready will will leave to look for our horses! When we find the we will have to count if there is no one missing and then we will have to start going down with them! Because in less than 1 month more there will be everything full of snow and the horses couldn‘t survive anymore! So we bring them down so that the will have for longer green grass and a good live! The place where they will stay will be our final destination so from there we will go down again by car! At home we finally can take a hot shower and a real bed!
