Day 1-2
Welcome to Valledupar, we meet in the hotel start to visit some parts of the town like Pozo Hurtado and get a bath in the Guatapuri river and have a look at Colombian life. I propose two solutions for accommodations: - A colonial house is a hotel near the main square of the town with all The comfort. - A Modern hotel if you need more service it is in a central position, nearby. We start to share some time together and planning the way to Nabusimake. Valledupar (Spanish pronunciation: [baʝeðuˈpaɾ]) is a city and municipality in northeastern Colombia. It is the capital of the Cesar Department. Its name, Valle de Upar (Valley of Upar) The city lies between the mountains of Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta and the Serranía del Perijá to the borders of the Guatapurí and Cesar rivers. Valledupar is notable as the cradle of vallenato music, representative of the Colombian culture. The city hosts the Vallenato Legend Festival.

Pueblo Bello

Pueblo Bello: Nature, peace and quiet is a real paradise to be discovered for a fully trekking experience in ancient history Sierra Nevada is a world heritage site. - Sleep in hammocks in a typical settlement of an indigenous guest of a family (In the Mamas house) that would like to share with you their culture, you could get dinner and lunch there with typical food of the community. Other solutions for the night: - Sleep in the village of Pueblo Bello, in a typical rebuilding of a village of Nabusimake. - Sleep in a Hotel inside the nature on the road to Nabusimake here there are the swimming pool and all comfort. Pueblo Bello (Pretty Village), is a village and municipality in the northern region of the Department of Cesar, Colombia. Pueblo Bello is the main producer of coffee in the Caribbean Region of Colombia.

Simonorua is a special palce for treking; Is it a sacred land for the Tutuma, is 2 and half hour walk from Pueblo Bello inside the nature nearby the river Araguani' is a very beautiful area. (Possible stay one night here if you like also too.)

Day 3-4
Resguardo of Arhuaco people nearby pueblo bello village some hour waking from the village inside the nature. Very sacred place for native for a big white stone. The territory of Arhuaco is divided in 3 regions (Resguardo).

Pueblo Bello
Day 4
Ready to go by Land Cruise to Nabusimake is about 3 and half Hours to arrive to the Nabusimake area the capital of the Arhuaco territory is a village of about 60 thatched houses, surrounded by a stone fence and called Nabusímake: the land where the sun is born. Nabusimake, like a good part of the indigenous territories of the Caribbean region, the houses are built in a mixture of materials traditionally used by the natives and the square structure of the Spaniards that included windows and stone bases to prevent flooding and increase the internal temperature of the houses.

Day 4-7
At 1800 mnms Nature, peace and quite the Valle of Nabusimake are a wonderful trekking, be ready for a great destination to discover is a natural treasure. Accommodation: Private room the first day after in typical House in the different part of Nabusimake area, Pantano and the High part. - First day to Nabusimake the capital of Arhuaco community: Orientation in the area looking the life of the Native there try to understand their way and style to live. - Second day learning a little the cosmogony of the people, in the first day excursion trekking in the area visiting some sacred place very holy for the community. Enjoy the landscape of the mountain of The Sierra on the path we pass from river looking the typical vegetation and animal of the Sierra if you are lucky you could get a picture of the condor and many other birds and animal like the Colibri the symbol of the Mountain of Sierra Nevada. - Third Day, a lesson of botanic and other trekking to visit other sacred place at the community and learning about the plants and herbs of the medicine of the indigenous.

Day 7
Time to say goodbye I'm pretty sure we spend a nice time in Sierra Nevada of Santa Marta and you will leave with a lot to remember the trip, about the Mama and their wisdom. Who want could stop here at the same time or follow the road to Valledupar in the same days.

Day 7
Here you will follow your trip to your next destination, and we say goodbye, or I could organize another trip if you want, to the guajira with the indigenous Guayu or with the Kogi indigenous also in Sierra Nevada of Santa Marta but in the other side of the Mountain.
