Welcome to the Road Trip of the east coast Australia Most important plan is to have fun well had a road trip from Sydney up to the Gold Coast. We’ll get to see the southern tip of the Great Barrier Reef🌴🐠, drive past amazing cliffs and beaches spot kangaroos and koalas along the way. We’ll be stopping in Blue mountain ,Newcastle, Port Macquarie ,Coffs Harbour , Gold Coast🏄‍♂️, and the Sunshine Coast going with the flow and enjoying the vibe. Australia is a vast country, we’ll be driving from place to place and the car will be with us all over the trip. 🔴If you have a driver’s license and you’d like to drive, I can add you as an additional driver. That way, you’ll have the option to take the wheel during the trip if you want. Just let me know and I’ll handle the registration 🔴If anyone needs help filling out their visa application, I’ll be happy to answer any questions so the process goes smoothly and easily. Love meeting new people exchange culture’s and languages. I want to explore and have fun adventures with fun and outgoing people. From this trip, I want to truly immerse myself in Australian culture, enjoy the country’s diverse cuisine, experience its endless coastline, and of course, explore and witness the world’s largest coral reef, and one of the oldest Rain forest in the world.

Sydney Airport DOM T2 Drop-Off

Day 1
🗓️ Jan 19 Landing at Sydney Airport, and that’s also where we’ll return at the end of the trip. Arrival Land at the airport Head to the apartment Drop off luggage and settle in, We’ll spend the two days in a beautiful, upscale beach view apartment on Coggee beach. Once everyone arrives, we’ll sit down together for a fun dinner get to know each other, chat, and align expectations so the rest of the trip flows perfectly.

Day 1-2
🗓️ Jan 19-21 Sydney Chosen for the best city on the world for 2024, the largest and most famous city in Australia, located in New South Wales on the east coast. It is considered a major economic, cultural, and tourist hub of the continent. Sydney is the perfect mix of a big city and dreamy beaches. Sydney Harbour Bridge

Day 2
Sydney Harbour Bridge is one of Australia’s most iconic landmarks, alongside the Opera House. 🌉 It is one of the largest steel arch bridges in the world, stretching about 1,150 meters in length and rising 134 meters high. And we’re going to walk on it and climb to the top in the unique BridgeClimb experience, which offers breathtaking views of the entire harbour and the Opera House.

Bondi Beach

Day 2
This iconic beachside neighborhood in Sydney’s east is a dynamic pocket of sun and sand, with a bustling social scene and top-notch restaurants and cafés. Bondi is one of Sydney’s most iconic beach suburbs – and for good reason. Even to locals, the golden sands of Bondi Beach are a slice of heaven, and its proximity to the city makes it easily accessible. Each day the sunrise brings early-morning surfers, swims in ocean pools and a local ritual of delicious coffee. As the sun sets, beachside bars come to life and shoppers browse designer boutiques. From morning to night, Bondi has it all.

Day 2-3
Drive of 2 Hours To Katomba city inside the forest 🗓️ Jan 21–22 – Blue Mountains Itinerary Katoomba is a cozy mountain town two hours from Sydney and the main base for exploring the Blue Mountains. The area is famous for dramatic cliffs, deep valleys, waterfalls, and the iconic Three Sisters rock formation. 🏠We'll stay here at nice Hotel apartment in the heart of Katoomba 🌄 Main Attractions -Scenic World -Ride the world’s steepest railway through the mountains, walk the elevated forest boardwalk, and --enjoy the panoramic cable car views. Watch -Three Sisters Lookout (Echo Point) -Perfect for sunset - one of the most iconic viewpoints in Australia. -Lincoln’s Rock -A dramatic cliff-edge viewpoint - amazing for photos and sunrise/sunset. 🥾 Hiking -Grand Canyon Track One of the best trails in the Blue Mountains with lush rainforest, canyon walls, and beautiful waterfalls. 🍳 Brunch Spots -Leura Garage – Trendy brunch with great coffee

Day 3-4
🗓️ Jan 22–23 – Newcastle & Port Stephens Area 🚗 Drive: Approx. 3.5 hours from Katoomba to Newcastle. Newcastle is a vibrant coastal city, known for its beautiful beaches, relaxed surf culture, and lively foreshore. It mixes history with modern style -old forts and industrial docks next to trendy bars, cafes, and street art. 🏠Well stay here at apartment on the center of Newcastle close to Channel Hunter River 🌊 Main Attractions 🐬 Port Stephens Area -Nelson Bay Dolphin Tour A classic local experience -cruise the bay, see bottlenose dolphins, maybe swim in the boom net. Bogey Hole: -A historic ocean pool carved into the rocks - great for photos and a refreshing dip if conditions are safe. ANZAC Memorial Walk: -A stunning clifftop coastal walk with incredible ocean views and steel memorial artwork. -Hickson Street Lookout A beautiful viewpoint overlooking the coastline -perfect for sunrise, sunset, or whale spotting 🏛️ Museums -Newcastle Museum Interactive exhibits about the region’s history, industry, and culture. Day 4-5
🗓️ Jan 23–24 – Coffs Harbour ⏱️ Drive: About 4 hours from Newcastle Coffs Harbour is a relaxed coastal town on Australia’s east coast, known for its beaches, marine life, and lush nature. It’s home to the famous Big Banana, peaceful botanic gardens, and scenic spots like Muttonbird Island, where you can enjoy ocean views and wildlife. 🏠We’ll stay here in a cool villa and caravan park close to the bay. 🏙️ Highlights & Activities 📚 Yarrila Place A modern cultural space with a library, gallery, and museum -great for a relaxed visit and local exhibitions. 🌿 Coffs Botanic Garden Peaceful gardens with rainforest paths, Japanese garden areas, and native Australian plants. Perfect for a slow morning walk. 🌾 The Clog Barn A quirky spot featuring miniature Dutch villages, gardens, and traditional clogs. Main Beach

Day 6
A jet boat ride in the Gold Coast is an adrenaline-filled experience: high speed, sharp spins, big splashes, and lots of excitement. The trip departs from the Surfers Paradise marina, passing by the city’s skyscrapers, rivers, and lagoons, and within seconds you feel like you’re on a roller coaster on the water.

Surfers Paradise

Day 6
Our Surf Adventure in Surfers Paradise 🏄‍♂️🏄‍♀️ We’ll meet our expert instructor at the Surfers Paradise location, gear up with a high-quality rash shirt or wetsuit, and grab the perfect board for our session. Then, we’ll step onto the golden sands of one of Australia’s most iconic beaches, where our two-hour surf adventure begins. Our lesson starts with a safety briefing and essential techniques to get us comfortable in the water. Then, it’s time to dive in literally! We’ll wade into waist-deep waves and start catching our first rides, feeling the rush of the ocean beneath us. Once we’ve gotten a feel for the waves, we’ll regroup on the sand for expert guidance on standing up. From there, it’s back into the surf, with our instructor by our side, helping us pop up and ride like pros.

Port Macquarie

Day 6
🗓️ Jan 27-28 Port Macquarie 4.5 Hours From Gold Coast 🏠We'll stay in unique farm river walk from Limeburners creek We’ll wrap up the trip with an amazing final day! We’ll drive back from the Gold Coast to Port Macquarie for our last night, leaving in the morning so we can arrive around midday. First stop: the Koala Hospital for a heart-melting visit, and then we’ll finish the day with a stunning sunset at the lighthouse - the perfect way to end the journey. A long, stunning coastline -you can also do camel riding on the beach, a super fun and unique activity. 🏞️ Nature & Heritage Green Horton / Timbertown Heritage Park A recreated 1800s village with shows, woodworking, and a ride on an old steam train through the forest. 🐨 Wildlife Koala Hospital A must-visit. Learn about koala rescue and rehabilitation, and walk the small trail around the center. 🌅 Lookouts & Views North Brother Lookout A breathtaking panoramic viewpoint over the ocean, lakes, and surrounding forests. 🌅 Sunrise & Sunset Spots Tacking Point Lighthouse – Sunset Classic Port Macquarie viewpoint. Great for whales in season and beautiful golden-hour colors. Harry’s Lookout – Sunrise A peaceful bluff overlooking Shelly Beach -perfect place to catch the morning light.

Sydney Airport, Terminal 3 Domestic

Day 6
We’ll kick off the morning with an unforgettable sunrise at Harry’s Lookout the perfect final moment of calm before the road. From there, we’ll drive all the way down to Sydney Airport about 4.5 to 5 hours drive, where our adventure officially comes to an end and everyone continues their own journey. What a way to wrap up an epic trip!
