Prague

Day 1-4
We will all meet at the accommodations on arrival in Prague. Once settled in, we will have a quick overview of our time in Europe, then we will head out to start exploring Prague. There are several Christmas markets, and we will start our first night with the biggest one in Jan Hus Square. We will meander through the market, taking in the aromas all around us, and immersing ourselves in the beauty that is Prague. Let's stroll over to Charles Bridge and gaze in wonder at the Prague Castle at night.

Prague Castle

Day 4
Good Morning – bright and early, we will head to the magical Prague Castle. I will show you my favorite places at the Castle and the surrounding area. We will spend most of the morning wandering through the grounds, seeing the Castle guards, checking out the amazing St. Vitus Cathedral and then walk down the stairs towards Malostranska. From there, we will wander down the streets, and head to Charles Bridge. The Lennon Wall is one site to see, as well as the sights and sounds of the Bridge. Lunch will be on our way. The afternoon is yours to explore! Of course, I’ll be around for recommendations or even if you’d like to continue walking around with me, I’ll show you some of my favourite places in Prague! Tonight we will head to Namesti Miru to enjoy the lovely Christmas markets in the area. We can have some delicious hot wine and maybe a sausage or langos. It's such a beautiful and easy city to walk through so let's find something that looks interesting and just go!
3

Vyšehrad

Day 4
Morning – breakfast together - let’s pick up some delicious chlebicka from a local bakery and some local pastries. Czech breakfast choices are amazing! Today will be a day full of walking so be prepared with some good shoes or boots (depending on weather!). We will take the tram to Vysehrad and enjoy the beautiful views, the church and have a late lunch in the grounds. Perhaps a walk back to the city centre along the river interests you? We can do that! Or take the tram - let's just see what the weather is like and take it from there. Let's head back and get ourselves ready to head to Krakow Poland tomorrow morning!
4

Kraków

Day 4-6
Today we head to the main train station to catch our train to Krakow, Poland to visit their Christmas market. It was voted the Number 1 Christmas Market in 2023. The train journey will take about 6 hours, so let's head to a grocery store on our way to the station to pick up some snacks for the train. Once in Krakow, we will head to our accommodations and get ourselves settled for the 2 nights we'll be here. After, let's head out to explore the city centre, the markets and get some dinner!
5

Kraków

Day 6
Krakow is a city I've wanted to visit since I lived in Europe back in 2015 and 2016. I never made it to Poland at all, so I'm excited to be exploring it with all of you! Let's start with a hearty breakfast before heading out to explore the city. A walking tour will be the best way to start our day so let's head and meet our group after breakfast. After the tour is done, we will have some free time on our own. Let's meet up at the accommodations to head to dinner together and then back to the Christmas markets! After all - that is why we are here right? Or perhaps we can indulge in some Christmas market delicacies for dinner - perogies are on my mind. Delicious perogies smothered in onions, sour cream - mmmm. Once again, we will head back and get our bags ready to head to our next city and Christmas market!
6

Vienna

Day 6-8
This morning will have us heading back to the train station - with a brief stop at a grocery store for some snacks on the train! The train ride to Vienna is approximately 5 hours, so we can relax, share our thoughts and pictures on our trip so far and talk about what we are most anxious to see in Vienna! I've been to Vienna twice but both times were quick trips (visa related) so I'm excited to have the time to visit the beautiful city without being rushed! Once settled in, we will head out and grab a quick bite to eat before our exploring starts. Schnitzel anyone? Let's head to the markets and discover all the exciting things there are to see. Maybe try their gluhwein and compare it to the others we've had so far. Let's just wander and follow the crowds, see and hear everything around us and enjoy the beautiful city of Vienna.
7

Vienna

Day 8
This morning we will head out for another walking tour - it really is the best way to see a new city! You learn so much from the amazing tour guides. Once our tour is done, it's time for some free time! Let's meet up for dinner, and perhaps there will be a Christmas concert to attend - what a way to end our Christmas market tour! Stay tuned for details to come. Of course, there is no better way to complete our Christmas market tour without one last visit to the market before heading back to our place and getting ready to head back to Prague in the morning!
8

Prague

Day 8-9
It's time to head back to Prague. Our train ride back is about 4 hours, so we can rest our weary bodies before getting back into the busyness of Prague at Christmas time. After we settle in, the rest of the day is yours! Let's have a special dinner tonight, a traditional Czech dinner, before we indulge in one last visit to the markets. The last night can be on your own or as a group - whatever you'd like to do! Tomorrow it's time to head home, so make the most of your last day in Prague.

Prague

Day 9
It's time to say good bye to your new friends and head back home. If it's possible (depending on flight times), let's have one last breakfast together before saying farewell/ It's been a pleasure getting to know you all and thanks for coming on an amazing Christmas market adventure! Veselé Vánoce Wesołych Świąt Frohe Weihnachten Merry Christmas1
