Trip Itinerary
1

Mérida

Day 1-2
Our first day (June 14th) will consist of visiting Merida's downtown, its cathedral, and having dinner in the parks that are within downtown. This first day is mainly for us to be able to know a bit about the city before going on the adventure. There are many restaurants where you can enjoy traditional Mexican food plus there are small trucks "carritos" where locals go and sell food as well. After a night out getting to know everyone on the team we will head to our Airb&b to have some well-deserved rest.
2

Cenote Noh-Mozon

Day 2-3
We will visit two beautiful cenotes, which are mostly visited only by locals. I've been to many cenotes during my freediving career and I can tell that these two are one of the most beautiful cenotes I've ever seen. We will be in each cenote for around 2 hours each, giving you time to enjoy snorkeling around, exploring, and discovering some of the most unique rock formations and underwater places that you will ever see. After our cenote adventure, we will go and eat at Charlie's house, one of the locals that will open his house to us so that we can enjoy some real traditional Yucatan meals. (Trust me, it doesn't get any better than this). After our adventure, we will go back to our Airbnb.
3

Chichén-Itzá

Day 3-4
This tour will take us the whole day, we will visit Chichen Itza, one of the new wonders of the world. You will learn from an expert how ancient Mayas used to live, and how their life used to be. The tour also includes a visit to one cenote that Mayan's used while performing rituals. We will eat in Valladolid, which holds the insignia of "Pueblo Magico" (Magical town) that is given to specific, rich in culture & gastronomy cities within Mexico. We will go back after our lunch and arrive at our Airbnb around 8 - 9 pm.
4

Cenote Kankirixche

Day 4-5
Day 4 is once again full of activities. We will leave our Airbnb and head straight to another town where two cenotes are found. These two cenotes are very different from the previous two that we visited before, but they are as magical as it gets. You will be able to see the difference between rock formations and also the depth. Same as before, we will be playing around on the cenotes for around 2 hours each. After our cenote adventure, we will go to the small village and eat with "Doña Lady". She is one of the locals and will treat us as a family while we eat the delicious meals that she prepared for us. We will then head back to Merida in order to rest for our 5th adventure day.
5

Izamal

Day 5-6
Our final day will be for you to get to know one of the most emblematic cities of Yucatan. The beautiful yellow city of Izamal. We will be driven by our van guide to the city and from there we will get to know the city's history and walk among the colonial architecture that was placed on top of the Mayan ruins as a sign of dominance from the Spanish conquerors. We will eat in downtown Izamal closing our week with a great talk and stories of our adventures together. Leaving Izamal around noon so that you can get your stuff ready for your departure the next morning.
