Trip Itinerary
1

Nevsehir Kapadokya Airport

Day 1-2
We will go ahead and go to the hostel after gathering at the airport and arranging for our car rental; we will proceed to the hostel. 🛏️💤 We will explore the premises and enjoy a delightful dinner once we have comfortably settled into the hostel in the evening. This day will be dedicated to relaxation and fostering connections as we take the opportunity to rest and get better acquainted with one another. 💬
2

Göreme Open Air Museum

Day 2
On day 2, we will get up early and have breakfast. Then we will go to Göreme Open Air Museum. There are many churches from the early Christian period, and we will explore the historic churches and unique fairy chimney formations in Göreme Open Air Museum. Then, we will enjoy a lunch break at a local restaurant in the Göreme area, where we will try local Turkish foods.
3

Uchisar Castle

Day 2
Then, the journey continues towards Uçhisar Castle, soaking in the magnificent views of this beautiful fortress. To arrive at the castle, we will walk and hike a little. But the view is worth it. Then, we will take some time to explore the shopping opportunities in the town center of Ürgüp. Then we will have a dinner at the Museum Hotel which has a very fancy restaurant. For the next day, we will have to wake up before sunrise. 🤫🪂 so make sure to get some rest!
4

Cappadocia

Day 2-3
🎈🎈YES YEEES, I was talking about the air balloon tour :) Cappadocia Balloon Tour is a bit salty. It is around 250-300 Euros. Sooo, it is totally up to you whether you do this or not. But still, we will wake up early to watch the balloons fly and take pictures. There is no way of going to Cappadocia without seeing the balloons; it will be the dumbest thing in the whole world.
5

Paşabağ Vadisi

Day 3
After the balloons, we will explore the fairy chimneys and impressive natural formations in Paşabağ Valley. This is where the famous Cappadocia Fairy Chimneys are located 🎐 After seeing the fairy chimneys, we can shop for souvenirs and rest at the nearby cafes to drink a Turkish coffee or grab a glass of wine; who knows 🙄🙄
6

Zelve Open Air Museum

Day 3-4
After lunch at Avanos with some local Cappadocian wine, we will hike in Zelve Open Air Museum and visit the rock-cut churches enjoying the surrounding and the history it encapsulates. Zelve was a town during the Byzantine era. The earliest churches were built around 500. There aren't many churches from the sixth century in Cappadocia, but half are in Zelve. Then, we will visit the traditional ceramic workshops in Avanos and have the chance to create our handmade ceramic souvenirs for yourself or your beloved ones 🥣 Later, we will return to our accommodation and have dinner around the surrounding restaurants.
7

Pigeon Valley

Day 4
Journey to Pigeon Valley, offering panoramic views of Cappadocia's breathtaking landscapes. Discover the pigeon houses and natural formations within the valley. This is a perfect spot for pictures to make your friends jealous! And this is the last stop of our trip; now it is time to hit the road for the airport. But we will leave Cappadocia with many memories worth remembering 🤍🌟
