¡Hola chicos! 🖐🏻 I will show you one of the biggest cities in Mexico, my great Monterrey! It's going to be an unforgettable summer for you with such beautiful activities and places. Believe me, you are going to enjoy it! ❤️ If it's your first time in Mexico, just let yourself go with the rhythm of this city!

Well, let me introduce myself, I'm Karla De La Garza, I could describe myself, but I prefer to let you discover my personality during this trip. You just need to know that I'm 23 years old, I'm proud for being Mexican, and I'm so excited about the idea to have you here. I was living in France last year and traveling around Europe, and I discovered a great passion for creating trips. So, now that I'm back to my beautiful country, I found this opportunity to create a trip and invite you all. And what could be better than to make my first trip to the place where I grew up! I want to make from this trip a sustainable experience too. I'm so into this topic and I will find the way to link my principles with this travel to make a pleasant experience. We will have a full week to enjoy as much as we can. I made a nice plan to see the best of Monterrey, and two beautiful stops in the state of Coahuila, our neighbor, Parras de la Fuente and Cuatro Ciénegas. I will introduce you nice friends that will love to party with us in Barrio Antiguo. Monterrey is well-known as the city of mountains, because we are surrounded by them, so I will take you two some of the best spots to appreciate the view of the city and the company of the nature. Last but not least, you will have a Mexican not professional chef available 24/7 who can show you some secrets of the Mexican gastronomy - Yo! 😉 (I really enjoy cooking, but sometimes I can be a beautiful mess in the kitchen ;P )

A beautiful Airbnb is waiting for us with: - Shared rooms - Backyard - Rooms for working - Livingroom - Kitchen - Bathrooms - Laundry - Wi-Fi It will have everything that we could need! Also, like Monterrey is a big city, we will have a car or van to take us anywhere! Basically, everything is "near" by car, but don't worry, remember that we have a van to our disposition, so everything is going to be alright. 😉

Monterrey

Day 1-2

The first day will depend on the hour of arrival of all of you. If you have jet lag and are tired, we can spend the afternoon in the house, so we can meet each other, you can see your rooms, you can rest, chill in the house, and have a nice welcome dinner. But if you want to see a little bit of the city in your first afternoon, I can take you to the Obispado!

Parras de la Fuente

Day 2-3

We are going to visit the first magic town of this trip, Parras de la Fuente, in the state of Coahuila. This stop is going to take us the whole day, but we are going to return to Monterrey at night and rest in the house. Here we will visit one of the most famous vineyard of the region and so much more! The tour includes activities and transportation, but food is not included, but don't worry, there are nice places to eat there, and we can prepare some snacks to have in our bags too.

Fundidora Park

Day 3

We will visit some places in the city like the park Fundidora, where we can hang out with the bikes or do ice-skate. This place also connects with the river Santa Lucía, that it's a beautiful place to walk in the afternoon, or we can take a small boat to cross the river.

Chipinque A.B.P. Ecological Park

Day 3-4

We can take a nice and long walk in Chipinque, an ecological and natural park that is part of our Sierra Madre Oriental. Here we will have a beautiful view for the whole city, and have a picnic on the top in the afternoon. And I will love to make you a traditional carne asada (but don't worry, if you are vegetarian or vegan, I'll be prepared with nice recipes 😉).

Macroplaza

Day 4

Well guys, this day we are going to make a nice tour in the city center. We will take walk through our famous Barrio Antiguo, where we will find some nice cafeterias, restaurants, and clubs. The idea is to go to the Macroplaza, and see the decoration of our famous "Día de Muertos", and have dinner there!

Santiago

Day 4-5

For this dayI have two ideas, two places that I will love to show you, one will be La Cola the Caballo, a nice watherfall, it doesn't take to much to arrive there and after I will take you to Santiago, one beautiful magic towns near from the city, that it's so lovely to take a nice photo shoot, eat ice cream, and ejoy life. The aamazing thing about this place is that we will be able to live the Día de Muertos as the people of the town usually do, in big and beautiful way!

Grutas De García

Day 5-6

I would love to take you to the Grutas the García. It is a nice natural place that we can visit. I'm just hoping that for this date I t would be available, because right now they are giving maintanance to the cable car, and the only way to go there right now it's by foot, and sandly I don't have the condition to that kind of activity lol :P. And for the night we can go to party to Barrio Antiguo for our closing night!

Monterrey

Day 6

The last day will be your departure day, so I will need to know your schedule. In case you need to take a flight (that I think so lol), I will need to organize the time with the driver to take you to the airport. Because the airport is far from the house, we will need to take a nice time to arrive on time.
