Let‘s explore Bangkok‘s colorful, vibrant & hidden streets together! 🇹🇭 🌺 The Trip: This trip is perfect for anyone who wants to explore different areas of a big city without rushing from one place to the other. Everyone is welcome: solo traveler, couples or even a group of friends! -> if you want to share a room, please let me know, so you will get some discount Of course, we want to use the time we have as much as we can. But everything you experience is twice as enjoyable when you feel relaxed and you can really soak it in. 🧘🏽‍♀️ That's why you don’t have to plan anything and I did all the work for you :) You will be picked up at the airport for an easy arrival, your accommodation is booked already and you don’t have to worry about getting around the city or missing out the best spots.🚕 🌺 The goal: My goal is to show you different parts of the city, from the backpacker area and Chinatown to a quiet park surrounded by skyscrapers or along the canals. I‘ve decided not to show you only the typical and well-known temples. There are plenty of other providers offering such tours, but I wanted to make our time together as varied as possible. And after spending these days with me, you should know how to find your way around the city and reach these places on your own. 🗺️ These days are also a perfect introduction for anyone who has just arrived in Thailand for the first time and is new to (solo) backpacking. I will provide you with tips and recommendations , as well as apps that will make traveling in Asia super easy. But this trip is also ideal for those who have already been to Bangkok/Thailand and want to see more than just the famous temples! 🌺 This trip is for you, if you like… * exploring cities * walking (not everything will be explored by foot, we will take boats and taxis as well) * waking up early in the morning (we are not rushing, but still want to see Bangkok’s highlights, so we should leave the hotel on time) * connecting with new people * creating unforgettable memories

🌸 About Pauli (your TripLeader 🤠): I‘ve been to Thailand several times, and I always had a great time in Bangkok! Even though I‘m usually more of a nature person, I always enjoy being in Bangkok. 🌇 The city is so diverse and there are endless things to explore and discover. For me, I really enjoy spending time with open-minded people and in general I‘m happy about anyone who wants to join this trip :) When I explore a place I do like it to be structured and plan some things ahead, buuut on the other hand I also like to keep things flexible. Not everything is always going to work out exactly the way you planned it. So it’s good to always have ideas, but to be flexible and open for some change at the same time. ✨ 🌸 Flexibel date: Since I‘m currently living in Asia, this tour is also available for other dates. So if you are interested for another time, please don’t hesitate to get in contact with me! Or even if you are interested but you want this trip to be longer/short or more customized to your preferences, pleeease let me know! ☺️ 🌼 So, how does the booking work? (Step by step) 1. Read the trip description and itinerary to get all the important informations 2. If you want to know more about me (the TripLeader ☺️) you can click on my profile and see more details and photos 3. Of course you can also text me if you have any questions or suggestions -> please SAFE the trip, so we are able to communicate through chat -> feel free to ask me anything you need to know (about the trip, tripmates, flexible dates, ..) 4. We can have a video call to discuss/confirm everything, and if you feel like joining the trip, you can reserve your spot :) 5. You will be added to a WhatsApp group and get more information, details and a packing list 6. Now we can already meet the other tripmates and just have to be patient until the trip finally starts!

✨ Accommodation: Everyone will have a private room with two beds, an own bathroom and air conditioning. The breakfast in the hotel is included in the price :) We will stay in a small hotel that is located in a part of Bangkok‘s oldtown. It‘s a more quiet area with cafes, restaurant and some temples around. The accommodation is well-located and we can reach Khao San Road and the surrounding areas just by foot in a few minutes. ✨ Safety: You don’t have to worry about your safety. You will have a private room that can be locked and the hotel is located in a safe area. I will get to know the other TripMates before the trip, to make sure that everyone joins the trip with the same intentions and expectations.

Bangkok

Day 1-2
You will be picked up at the airport and a private car drives you to our hotel, so you have the easiest and least stressful arrival in Thailand! Now you have enough time to check in, meet other tripmates and me (your TripLeader) and slowly arrive in Bangkok. Depending on the time of the arrival of the other tripmates, you can just chill a little bit or if you feel like exploring already, I can give you some recommendations for cafes/restaurants/temples really close by. In the evening we will have a welcoming dinner all together, so we can get to know each other and discuss the details for the next days. Even though, you are reading this itinerary right now, there are still things that are flexible and we can adjust to our preferences :) After dinner we start exploring Bangkok‘s most famous street when it comes to nightlife. We will walk along the famous and busy Khao San Road, the hotspot for young people and backpackers from all over the world. If you haven't fully arrived in Bangkok yet, you definitely will at this point. But don‘t worry, there a more quite and cute streets around as well. If we feel like it, we can end our day with a drink/smoothie in one of the bars/restaurants with some live-music before heading back to the hotel.

Bangkok

Day 2-3
Our first full day will start with breakfast in our hotel (included), so we have enough energy for a day full of new impressions, walking and exploring. We are heading to the Chao Phraya River for one of our highlights of this trip: the boat tour along the canals of Bangkok (included). A traditional longtail boat will take us along the klong (canals) to some special places. You will see the famous Wat Arun from the water, as well as local neighborhoods and the artist village Baan Sillapin. We will make a stopp at „The Artist House“, before following the canals to the flower market. The Pak Klong Flower Talat is the biggest flowermarket in Thailand and is open 24 hours every day. We say goodbye to our English-speaking tourguide who will be with us on the boat and make our way towards the Song Wat Road. This street is located near the Chao Phraya River and a perfect location to go to from our current location. Song Wat Road is a historic street in Bangkok‘s Chinatown area which is nowadays filled with unique little shops, boutiques, bars and street art. Historic buildings are renovated into cafes, food spots and creative shops. We will spend the afternoon strolling through the streets, maybe having a coffee and soaking up the atmosphere of this young, hip neighborhood. At this point, we are already close to the center of Chinatown, so this is where we will go for dinner. Especially when it‘s dark, the real atmosphere of Chinatown comes alive. Bangkok‘s Chinatown is the biggest Chinatown in the world and definitely worth a visit. The streets are full of colorful and bright lights, street food, shops, markets and life. It’s the perfect place to try some street food and get an inside into Chinese culture. At the end of the day, we take a taxi back to our hotel :)

Bangkok

Day 3-4
The highlight of this day will be our visit on the third highest building in Bangkok for sunset! But until we go there, we still have some time left to see more of Bangkok‘s beauty. So, we wave breakfast in the hotel again before heading to our first destination of the day. The next few hours we can spend however we like, depending on what you would still like to see and what you haven't had enough of yet. My suggestion would be to visit the famous Lumphini Park (free entry). The park is located in the middle of Bangkok’s tall buildings and monitor lizards roam freely in the park. On the way to the park, we could stop at a temple or the Arts and Culture Center. There you can find lots of small shops and artists with exhibitions (free entry). The very local Klonh Toei Market is also not far from Lumphini Park. The market is a local experience and the perfect place to try some fruits you haven’t tried before. Right on time we will head to the Sky Tower to catch the sunset with an amazing view over the city. An elevator takes us to the 77th floor where we already get an panoramic view. But that's not all — afterwards, we'll go higher up to the 84th floor to enjoy the view while standing on an revolving view point with a 360° view. We will stay up there until the sun goes down and it gets dark. Slowly you will see Bangkok at night with all its lights from up there, an unforgettable view! After we will find a nice spot for dinner and enjoy our last evening together, before its time to say goodbye the next day.

Day 4
Breakfast will be served in the hotel again :) Depending on everyone's onward travel plans, we can stop by a temple, market, or street food stall on our last morning. Otherwise, it's time to say goodbye and look back on some great days together.🧡 I hope everyone got a good insight into Bangkok's vibrant life and experience how diverse the city is. My goal is to show you different parts of the city, from the backpacker district and Chinatown to a quiet park surrounded by skyscrapers or along the canals. I have decided not to show you only the typical and well-known temples. There are plenty other providers offering such tours, but I wanted to make our time together as varied as possible. And after spending these days with me, you should know how to find your way around the city and reach these places on your own. I‘m always happy to share my recommendations for other places in Thailand/Asia as well and help you to plan your onward route and days.
