👩🏽‍🦱🧔🏻About us: I am Katherine, a traveler, nomad, and the free spirit willing to guide you on this journey. After traveling through more than 20th countries, living for a long time in Portugal and Finland as an athlete, and then embarking on volunteer experiences in the United Kingdom and Italy, I arrived in the country of my ancestors, Croatia. Here I decided to live doing what I am more passionate about: traveling, knowing, and connecting with new cultures. I am Ante, a naturalist, adventurer, and the wild spirit that will take you to know the most interesting corners of my country. With experience driving boats, diving, fishing, camping, climbing, hiking, and traveling around, I can show you my favorite national parks, rivers, lakes, waterfalls, and interesting spots during this amazing trip. I am passionate about taking people to visit the beautiful, marvelous areas of my country. Also, I enjoy meeting new people, sharing food, and playing the guitar. Our passion for travel goes beyond just visiting places; it's about forming connections with different cultures and sharing those experiences with fellow adventurers. Trip Itinerary
1

Ban Josip Jelačić Square

Day 1-2
📍ZAGREB This is the capital and largest city of Croatia, located in the northwestern part of the country. A charming and safe city. As the capital of Croatia, Zagreb has many historical sights, museums, and beautiful green oases that would delight any visitor. It is one of the oldest Central European cities and a perfect combination of rich heritage, lively rhythm of street life, and a multitude of attractions that will awaken all your senses. Here we will basically have a full day. We will do a city tour during the morning. - At 11:00 a.m. we will visit the historic Upper and Lower Town area, which features beautiful architecture, museums, and a stunning cathedral. Other must-see attractions include the main square Trg bana Josipa Jelačića, the colorful Dolac Market, the Museum of Broken Relationships, etc. All these will have a duration of 2-3 hours. - In the afternoon we will go to visit the Botanical Garden and some other places you can be interested in. - Finally, make sure you try some traditional Croatian drinks and cuisine, such as rakia, ćevapi, or burek. - A cool party night can be arranged ;)

Plitvice Lakes National Park

Day 2-3
📍PLITVICE NATIONAL PARK Just a two-hour car drive from Zagreb, the national park offers 50 acres of forest and lake. Marvel at the spectacular beauty of Plitvice Lakes National Park. Croatia's best-known national park and the Croatian natural jewel that is on the UNESCO List of World Heritage sites. The main attractions of this park, unique in the world, are the 16 small lakes joined by waterfalls created by the sedimentation of travertine, a special type of limestone. We invite you during this autumn season (when the park is lush with yellow and orange tonalities) to experience the idyllic scenes of the sleepy nature of Plitvice Lakes, feel the benefits of a healing stay in the fresh air, and taste the richness of the gastronomic offer inspired by the Lika tradition. We will enjoy a full day here. To take a boat and walk, or just walk, will be optional depending on your preferences. We will visit this National Park for a maximum of 6 hours. And will have a lunch stop for around 1-2 hours. At the end of the walking tour. After this, we will embark on a road trip to Pag Island, where our accommodation is located.
3

Velebit

Day 3-4
📍VELEBIT Is one of the largest mountains in this area of the Dinarides. Velebit hiking trails are favorite destinations and one of the Park trademarks. There are 14 trails available in the Nature Park in total, ranging from easy to difficult, and allowing a wide range of visitors to directly experience the mountain and its surroundings. Hiking footwear and clothes are needed for all these trails. Also, we can all together discuss the difficulty trail we want to explore. The coastal slope is very rocky and bare, moon-like in some places and grey or yellowish-grey in colour, speckled with short plant life. Although steeper, the inland slope seems gentler. It is almost completely covered in forest so that it is dark-green in colour. The coastal slope is characterized by two more or less distinct longitudinal terraces (the foothill plateau and the longitudinal coastal plateau), which like stairs spread along the entire Velebit ridge. The peak area of Velebit is the third landscape area characterised by exceptional abundance of karst landforms.
4

Zadar

Day 4-5
📍 ZADAR Located in the centre of the East Adriatic and surrounded by stunning nature of great variety. This is the place where natural and cultural heritage coexist in perfect harmony. We will enjoy a full day in the 3000-year-old city of Zadar. It is a proud city of rich and interesting tradition and amazing cultural heritage. The long and indented coast of surreal beauty and splendid peaks of the imposing mountains will make you forget all your worries, leaving you in awe once you realize how many diverse natural wonders can be found around you. 📍RETURN TO ZAGREB After the full day in Zadar, we will return to Zagreb at the most suitable time for everyone. Preferably before 18 hrs. We will provide you with all the necessary information and help for your next destination. *Pick-up and drop-off at the airport can be arranged, depending on the schedule. *Remember to bring proper clothes for the season.
