I've booked Generator Amsterdam hostel for us! Located in the trendy eastern part of the city, it overlooks Oosterpark. It's a former building of the University of Amsterdam and the zoological museum. The hostel features flexible and spacious common areas with stylish design, a café that's elevated both in ambiance and location, as well as an outdoor terrace. They've transformed the former lecture hall into an impressive chill-out lounge and bar. Plus, the previous library has been revamped into a relaxation space for private events. I got us a spot in the Deluxe 4 Bed Mixed Dorm Ensuite at the Generator Hostel! It's a cool setup – think dorm-style but with a twist. We've got options, with 1 bunk and 2 twin beds, plus our very own private bathroom. Oh, and they've got us covered – each bunk comes with a light, shelf, and even a charging station with a USB port. Not to mention, there are lockers under the beds for our stuff. And don't worry about towels, we can grab those at the reception. It's a sweet deal, and it fits the four of us comfortably.
