Alto Tajo Natural Park in Spain

We will sleep here for two nights, right next to the Alto Tajo natural park. It's a small village with lots of nature around to enjoy. Eating in the local restaurants is also an option. The hikes we will be doing depart from here or very close by. Here is a more detailed description by date: 24th March: I'll pick you in Madrid in my car (or rented if mine turns out to be too small). That's the reason why I am only accepting 3 passengers. We will drive up to Peralejos de las Truchas, where our apartment is located. We will have our own kitchen, so I can teach you how to cook Spanish tortilla or any other Mediterranean dish you'd like. 25th March: we will hike through the beautiful Parque Natural de la Serranía de Cuenca, or, as we locals call it, "Alto Tajo". I will ask in advance how fit you are in order to select a route everyone is comfortable with, but keep in mind you should be willing to walk for a few hours. Also, I am a biologist, so I'll prepare a small exercise so that you get to learn a little bit about the wildly rich Spanish nature, along with some lunch packs for us to eat. After the hike, we will have some free time before dinner, cooked once again by me. 26th March: wake up early for a small route through Alto Tajo! This one will be less lengthy, again, depending on how everyone feels.

On our way to Madrid we will visit Sigüenza, one of the main medieval towns no tourist guide will tell you about. Trust me, its impressive Gothic cathedral and its Castle, dating all the way back to the 5th Century, are worth the visit. We will eat in Sigüenza as well. After that, we will come back to Madrid to have one last beer together :)
