Hi everyone! I'm looking for one trip mate to spend 1 month on the Portuguese Algarve coast in the town of Lagos together! Dates are 16 Jan - 6 Feb (3 weeks). * Who's me * German winter is cold and mood is bad, so I'd like to start my first digital nomad trip. I'm 30 years old, living in Cologne and working (currently remotely) in development cooperation. I'm a passionate hiker and history lover. :) With my new flexibility at work, I'd like to combine work with travel! * THE PLAN * The idea is to let everyone do their work during the weekdays and spend coffee breaks, cooking sessions, evenings and weekends together exploring the environs. I'm flexible re. age etc. as long as you have a work-like daily routine. I'm down for a good balance between common life and time for yourself. The Algarve promisses mild and sunny days, endless views over the sea and charming villages. And - honestly - has quite good prices! Lagos has a charming old town center, various beaches and features the Algarve's largest digital nomad community. COVID: The south of Portugal is one of the least affected areas by Covid at the moment. Restaurants and shops are open, there is a curfew late at night. No testing requirements. (see map: https://www.safecommunitiesportugal.com/major-incident-page) * LOGISTICS * Flights are ~30€ from Frankfurt (return). I have a two bedroom apartment in Lagos between the beach an marina. (Pics. see below) Also, I a rental car is reserved. Price includes accomodation and car.

I'm a history buff, passionate hike, and vegetarian. My cooking skills are so-so but the red wine I bring will make up for this. I'm generally a low-key budget traveller, prefering local street food over 5 star cuisine and a family home stay over the Hilton downtown. My work is international development cooperation.Profile description: I'm a history buff, passionate hike, and vegetarian. My cooking skills are so-so but the red wine I bring will make up for this.
