Albania is a travellers dream because of its stunning beaches, fascinating history, and most importantly - it's relatively tourist-free! This small country is one of the last hidden gems of Europe, and it's also very affordable. In this 7-day trip, I will take you to some of the most beautiful and historic places in southern Albania and of course, we will spend loads of time soaking up the sun on the incredible beaches! Sarandë
Day 1-2
On the first day, we will all arrive at our hostel. Let's get to know each other and our fellow TripMates. As Sarandë is a beach city we have plenty of beaches to check out. After checking in, we will spend the rest of the day at leisure, enjoying the beautiful beaches, and the stunning scenery of Sarandë.

Ksamil
Day 2-3
In the morning, we will drive to the nearby village of Ksamil, known for its pristine beaches and crystal-clear waters. Here, you can relax on the beach, swim, and soak up the sun. In the afternoon, you can explore the local area, sample some delicious Albanian cuisine, and take in the relaxed atmosphere of this charming coastal village.

Buthrotum
Day 3-4
On the third day, We will head to Butrint National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We'll explore the ancient ruins of the Greek and Roman empires. We'll then explore the archeological site including the theater, basilica, and castle.

Gjirokastër County
Day 4-5
After breakfast, we will drive to Gjirokastra, a historic town known for its well-preserved Ottoman architecture. Here, we will visit the castle, explore the Ethnographic Museum, and wander through the cobblestone streets, soaking in the history and culture of this charming town. You can also sample some delicious local delicacies, including baklava and Turkish coffee.

Blue Eye
Day 5-6
We'll drive to Syri i Kalter, also known as the Blue Eye, a natural spring with stunning turquoise waters. We will explore the area and enjoy the beautiful scenery. In the afternoon, we will head to the Albanian Riviera, a picturesque stretch of coastline that boasts some of the most stunning beaches in Albania.

Himarë
Day 6-7
Let's indulge in a day of ultimate relaxation at the breathtaking beaches of Himara, a charming coastal town renowned for its pristine sandy shores. Sink your toes into the warm sand, immerse yourself in the crystal-clear waters, and soak up the sun while basking in the idyllic scenery. Unwind, and let yourself drift away in this serene setting.

Day 7
After breakfast, we all will be leaving to the airport for our departure flight. With unforgettable memories of the Albanian coast, you will bid farewell to this beautiful country, hoping to return soon for another adventure.
