Guided trip
Imagine if you could go back into the history for a day or two, which time frame of the history would you want to pay a visit? For me, I am so into the history of Vietnam, my homeland, and how it went through wars with many colonizers in the history, yet their impact into our architecture and mindset. You can also see for yourself the contrast between the history and the modern life, the change of peoples' culture as well. That's the reason why I have this trip on so you guys could join me. What will we do? Starting off Day 1 with just a bit of the history, Vietnam Historical Museum is the first stop of this trip. Why? Because you will be in a timeline of the Vietnam History, starting from when human were just apes, to the dynasty era, to the current time of day. After the basic "instruction" of the Vietnamese history, the Reunification Palace is the place to go to, if you are interested in how the South Vietnam Government President operated the country in the wartime before 1975. You also will have a glimpse of his daily life, including work, entertainment... during that time. As this trip is about history, you will learn mostly about the history of this city, through buildings, such as the Notre Dame Cathedral, and the Central Post Office, the 2 witnesses of all the ups and down of the history. If you are into window shopping, or a shopaholic, the Ben Thanh Market is for you, yet you also can grasp a bit of the history through the place as well. The price may be pretty high, as money talks. But bargaining talks as well. You will be learning some Vietnamese in order to bargain with them as well. Like I said up there, this trip is a mix between the history and the modern day, here comes the modern part of the city, the Nguyen Hue Walking Street. The fun part of Ho Chi Minh City is, you can learn the bit of the history in every corner of it. It has a history too. I hope you won't get fed up with all the information, though. Finally, after a full day of walking and strolling through the places in the first day of the city, it's always cool to just chill and to enjoy a few drinks in the nightlife of the city. So the Bui Vien Walking Street is always a fun place for you. Day 2, well, it will be a local experience for you, with history, of course. What will we do? Usually for this stop people will take a tour, hop on a luxury bus and reach the place. That's a NO for this trip. LOL. Everything will be local, including the transportation. As Cu Chi Tunnel is a bit away from the downtown, we will hop on a couple of the local buses to the place. There you will have a chance to see the lives, the faces and the smiles of the people you see on the local buses. And once we reach the stop. It will be super fun, because there is a whole lot of experience waiting for you there. Imagine living underground for many years, how would you live that life? This stop will tell you how the life was. Let's talk a bit about me: I am a local guy, super easy going, half extroverted and introverted. I am not saying that I am funny, but I will try my best to be. What I do expect is that you are willing to take the experience and to have fun. As an easy-going person, I am down to do and talk about most things, but there are a few things I would like to share to you: - I don't drink (alcohol wise). - I expect you to not make fun of women, and our local people. About your accommodation: There will be quite 2 options: you can decide your accommodation for yourself, or if you want, I can help to book the accommodation for you. Either way is fine with me. If you are into having this trip, I am down to have more communication with you about it. The trip costs does include: - Transporation - Accommodation (if you decide to let me book the accommodation for you). - Entry fee (for some stops, some other stops don't really require). - Lunch & Dinner for 2 days in the city. If you have any other questions regarding the trip costs, I am also willing to communicate with you. Alright, I hope I have given enough information about this trip. If you are interested, here's my invitation to hop on this trip with me. And that I hope it will be a great experience for you while traveling here. See you in this trip!
