8 Days Island Life ๐ด Whale Watching Catamaran Tour ๐ณ , Natural Volcanic Pools ๐คฟ and Tenerife's National Parks Ready for a week full of adventures? Black sand beaches, volcanic terrain, natural pools, beautiful views, and traditional cuisine will await you! Not only that, you will visit Teide National Park where you can find the highest mountain in Spain (3715m), and also hop on a catamaran โต๏ธ for three hours. If we are lucky we will see dolphins and a local canary whale species ๐ณ. Due to the location of Tenerife (which is also the biggest island of the canary archipelago), it is home to a multitude of microclimates and that is why there are a lot of different things to see! ๐ Do not forget to bring your camera. You will shoot some great pictures! We will try to make a mix between walking through nature, visiting traditional places, and relaxing at the beach or natural pools. ๐ Our trip will start in the south, in Costa Adeje, the sunniest part of the island. You will find lots of beaches and a vivid nightlife! ๐ธ Afterward, we will head up north to the more authentic and greener part. Costa Adeje
Day 1-3
๐ธ Welcome to this beautiful island ๐ธ Our first two nights we will stay close to airport south, in Costa Adeje. Only 5 minutes walk to the closest beach and near lots of restaurants, bars and parties. You will either sleep with one or two other people in the room - all of them have single beds. Since everyone will very likely arrive at different times, arrivals day will be mostly to walk around town, get to know each other and relax at the beach. ๐ If we feel like it, we can already enjoy our first sunset together in one of the rooftop bars close to our hotel. ๐ธ

Whale Watch Tenerife
Day 3
After getting some energy with the hotel's breakfast buffet, we will head down to Puerto Colon to start our Whale Watching Tour. We will sail on an exclusive catamaran for the next three hours, searching for canary whales and dolphins. Sometimes they are hard to separate, since some of the whales are only a bit bigger than the dolphins here. Bring your cameras, guys! ๐ธ After the boats tour we will have some time to relax and change and then head to a close by local beach to watch the sunset. ๐

Masca
Day 3
Today we are going to check-out at the first hotel and head north to the next one. On our way we will have some stops tho'. The first one will be the famous mountain village of Masca. In between huge cliffs and mountains, we will have lunch (traditional cuisine) and simply enjoy the view! โฐ๏ธ Afterwards we will drive to an authentic, coastal town in the north. We can have a city stroll, gaze at historical buildings and jump into natural pools! ๐ Later that day, we will check in at our second hotel, which is located in Puerto de la Cruz.

Puerto de la Cruz
Day 3-8
Our next 5 night we will sleep in a cute Hotel in the city center, also only 5 minutes away from the ocean! ๐ Rooftop pool, great breakfast and an amazing view to El Teide. Today we will check out the city and walk along the coast to Playa del Socorro. It will take around 1 hour, depending on how fast we move and how often we stop. It is doable for every fitness level. ๐ฅพ You will get some beautiful views over the ocean, banana plantations and the green north. If we time it right with the tide, we have the chance to see a small waterfall next to the ocean. ๐ For lunch we have the option to eat in a local" Guachinche", a traditional canary restaurant with local goods and wine.

Parque Nacional del Teide
Day 8
The last few days you were gazing at the highest mountain of Spain only from far away. Today you will be able to step on the volcano ๐ for the first time! After around 1.15 hours drive, we will take the cable car as far up as possible. From there we have the option to walk around for a bit and get views over the whole island. If we are lucky with weather conditions and visibility, we are able to see up to 4 other islands from up there. ๐ฎ๐จ To end the day perfectly, we will find a nice sunset spot and enjoy a picnic together.

El Sauzal
Day 8
In the morning we will cool down in some natural volcanic pools close to Puerto de la Cruz. Let's first stop at a coffee shop on top of the mountain and try the traditional coffee, called "Barraquito" tho'. You gotta try this when in Tenerife! โ๏ธ After some relaxing and snorkeling, we will head to the historical town of La Laguna. You will find local shops to buy some souvenirs, beautiful traditional-build houses and cute restaurants.

Anaga
Day 8
Last but not least, another must see for Tenerife. The Anaga mountains! Lush forest, amazing mountain views and beautiful black Sand Beaches! ๐ณ Let's walk around for a bit and take some pictures before heading down to Playa del Benijo. Now you have seen quite a lot from this beautiful island! I hjope you have enjoyed the time, made some good memories and new friends! ๐
