On the first day, we will settle in at our accommodation and eagerly await the arrival of all our tripmates at Ausha's airport. In the evening, we will gather for a delightful dinner, providing us with the perfect opportunity to get to know one another!

We will embark on a scenic drive to Arusha National Park, conveniently located just 40 minutes away from Arusha town covering approximately 53 square miles (137 sq km). This captivating park comprises three distinct features: lush swamps in Ngurdoto crater, the ever-changing hues of Momela lakes, and the rugged alpine peaks of Mount Meru. From highland montane forests to lowland swamps, the park's diverse habitats are home to a rich variety of wildlife. The graceful black and white Colobus monkeys, the park's mascots, perform mesmerizing swan dives between branches, their long tails gracefully billowing. Blue monkeys and olive baboons are also abundant here. As we explore further, we'll encounter an array of impressive creatures, including elephants, giraffes, hippos, leopards, hyenas, zebras, and a wide variety of antelopes, such as dik-diks, bushbucks, waterbucks, reedbucks, and forest luckiers. From May to October, migratory birds grace the park with their presence, enhancing its natural beauty. Whether planning a rewarding day trip from Arusha or Moshi towns or seeking a longer adventure, Arusha National Park promises an unforgettable experience for nature enthusiasts.

Our next adventure takes us to the renowned Serengeti National Park, where we'll drive via the scenic Ngorongoro crater rim, enjoying a thrilling game drive along the Serengeti. Serengeti, the largest National Park in Tanzania, is also one of the world's most expansive wildlife sanctuaries, covering approximately 14,763 sq km at an altitude of 4,200 ft. The name "Serengeti" originates from the Masai language, meaning "endless plain," aptly describing the park's vast and diverse ecosystem. It encompasses kopjes, savannahs, scattered woodlands, hills, lakes, rivers, and ponds, providing a habitat for a myriad of bird species and a spectacular array of wildlife. As we venture through the Serengeti, we'll encounter a captivating assortment of creatures, including giraffes, Cape buffalos, elephants, lions, cheetahs, leopards, wildebeests, zebras, and many more, roaming freely across the land. The world-famous wildebeest and zebra migration is a unique phenomenon, where countless individuals traverse the plains, following the seasonal rains in search of green pastures. After a day filled with awe-inspiring encounters, we'll spend the night in the charming city of Karatu,.

Our journey continues as we drive to the captivating Tarangire Park, conveniently situated south of Lake Manyara, just 116km from Arusha town. Covering a vast area of approximately 2,600 sq km, Tarangire is a sanctuary for around 2,500 elephants. The park's unique landscape is adorned with iconic baobab trees, flourishing within the open Acacia Woodland. The southern part of the park, particularly the Silale swamp, is renowned for its tree-climbing pythons, adding to the park's allure. Tarangire is an ornithologist's paradise, boasting a rich diversity of avifauna and an abundance of birds of prey. During the dry season from June to mid-October, the park becomes a spectacle with its large concentration of wildebeests and zebras. Additionally, herds of Cape buffalo, impalas, and impressive lion prides, as well as leopards, cheetahs, and graceful giraffes, can be spotted roaming freely across the park. After an unforgettable visit to the park, we will head to Arusha airport, where we'll catch a domestic flight to the captivating island of Zanzibar, continuing our adventure in this beautiful part of the world.

We will indulge in a luxurious stay on the enchanting island of Zanzibar, nestled in the heart of Stone Town. Spending 3 nights immersed in warm hospitality, while enjoying the poolside relaxation and the pristine beaches overlooking the Indian Ocean. Zanzibar offers a variety of activities for every taste. We will have the choice to embark on thrilling water sports like snorkeling, scuba diving, or jet skiing. To visit landmarks such as the House of Wonders or the Old Fort. Stone Town has an ancient culture-rich melting pot, where Persian, Arabic, Indian, and European influences have merged over centuries offering a unique and fascinating destination. It is an ancient trading town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and is really the heart and soul of Zanzibar Island. After a delightful 3-night stay, it's time to bid farewell to Zanzibar and head back home, taking with us unforgettable memories of this adventure, and will depart from Dar Es Salam airport.
