Vancouver
Day 1-2
You will depart from Vancouver for Golden, near the BC-Alberta border. You will see and experience the changes in the flora and physical landscape, from evergreen lush temperate forest of the Coast Mountains to semi arid forest in the rain shadow valley, and lakes, before arriving at Golden on the fringe of the Canadian Rockies.

Day 2
Stop at the Last Spike, a spot that marks the completion of the Trans Canadian railroad in 1885.

Banff
Day 2-4
Depart for Banff National Park. Visit Lake Louise, Moraine Lake. Hike up Johnston Canyon. See the majestic Castle Rock, the most iconic rocky mountain block in the Rockies. Stay at picturesque Banff. Experience the local food, enjoy hot spring bath. Ride a gondola up Sulphur Mountain, trek along a waterfall, walk the Hoodoos trail, enjoy a scenic walk by the lakes, and or experience the thrills of whitewater rafting. Visit a historic site, the Cave & Basin Historic site, where it all began for the national parks.

Athabasca Glacier
Day 4-5
See, enjoy, and experience the most scenic drive in the Canadian Rockies, the Columbia Icefield Parkway. Visit perhaps the most beautiful lake in the Canadian Rockies - Peyto Lake, and Bow Lake. Take Adventure Ride on a monster truck onto the Athabasca Glacier. Visit its information centre, learn about glaciers and water systems. Stop Sunwapta Falls. Arrive Jasper, free & easy.

Jasper
Day 5-6
Explore Jasper - Maligne Canyon, Maligne Lake (optional cruise). Depart for Kamloops. Visit Mt Robson information cente, enjoy a magnificent view of Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies. In August, watch salmon leap at Rearguard Falls.

Kamloops
Day 6
Arrive Kamloops, historically a fur trading post. Located in the semi arid rain shadow region in the valley between the Coast Mountains and the Rocky Mountains. Famed for its wine. Visit a vineyard, enjoy wine tasting. In the winter, enjoy winter adventures at Sun Peaks.

Vancouver
Day 6-7
Depart for Vancouver. Drive along the scenic Route 5A, dotted with beautiful lakes, semi-arid landscape, unique flora and fauna, coyotes. Stop at a wildlife look out post. Arrive at Vancouver late in the evening.
