I have lived in Turin for over 10 years and I want to show you (as a LOCAL) all the beautiful things that Turin can offer. 🙋🏻‍♀️ About me I'm Helen, 27 years old. I grew up in Italy and at the age of 20 I moved across the world to study and compete in the United States. Now, I am back in Europe and wanting to do all the traveling that this side of the world (and more) offers, while also enjoying time in my hometown! 🏠 Where are we staying? Our home for the getaway long week end will be an apartment close to Downtown, so we will always be in the true heart of Turin. We will have same gender shared rooms! We'll have a full kitchen as well in case we decide to have a little fun with a home cooked dish. 💰 What's included in the price? - Accommodation (shared rooms) - Lift to "Mole Antonelliana" panoramic view - JoinMyTrip service fee and trip planning - Emergency insurance for German and Austrian residents. All other costs for food, extra activities, flights, transportations etc. are not included and we will use split wise to make our lives easier with splitting costs. Quadrilatero Romano

Day 1-2

Day 1! We will be waiting for every trip mate to get to Turin and start our adventure! Ideally we'll all be in the city by dinner and will go to a local place of our choice. My favorites are a traditional "trattoria", or a pizza place. Afterwards will head towards the ancient part of town called "Quadrilatero Romano" for a drink on a booth or hot tea sitting down in a cave at a local spot. Great time to bond and get to know each other!

Mole Antonelliana

Day 2-3

Day 2! The second day will start with the visit at the Mole Antonelliana right after breakfast! There is a crystal fun lift that takes you up to the top for an amazing panoramic view. Inside the "Mole Antonelliana" there is also the national cinema museum that can be visited paying a few more euros. Afterwards we can have a quick lunch Downtown while we explore the historical downtown area and eventually some museums, for example, Turin also has the second biggest Egyptian museum! After dinner, that can be homemade or out, we can go to a pub to play some games, find a karaoke and more fun activities!

Superga

Day 3-4

Day 3! I love Sundays because usually it's the day of the week where I get to relax and spend time in the nature. There are a lot of panoramas and parks in Turin. We will go and explore The "Basilica di Superga", anold church on top of Turin where around 80 years ago, an airplane traveling with the Torino F.C. team crushed into the hill of Superga. Next, we have the beautiful more up close panorama of "Monte dei Cappuccini" where they put the Winter Olympic Games torch in 2016. We'll then walk by the river "Po" and enter the very famous park called "Valentino" with a fun reconstruction of a Middle Age village. After an Italian "apericena" we can go hit a bar or, if all the tripmates are down, we can go play at an escape room, something I love to do!

Turin

Day 4

Day 4! Last day and bonus day! Depending on when everyone is leaving we can do different activities. Last minute shopping, check a museum out, or even go see the Winter Olympic Games village from 2006. A good last day that allows us to do whatever we feel like we haven't accomplished yet, of course, paired with good food all the way!
