This trip is designed for you to get acquainted with our small but so beautiful Hashemete Kingdom of Jordan, with its past and present, modern life in the cities, and nomadic lifestyle in the desert. The aim is to see its so different and amazing landscapes, visit its highlights and enjoy its unbelievable cordial hospitality! We will have a tour either with a private driver or drive by ourselves. I don't decide about that yet. The tour has a max. the capacity of four persons. We will start in Ammaan and end there as well. Amman

Day 1-3
Day 1 Welcome To Jordan! Today, your journey to Jordan starts! Upon arrival, you have to go through usual immigration procedures and after that pick up your luggage from the luggage belt and proceed to the Waiting Hall where your driver will be awaiting you with a sign with your names. He will take you to Amman for overnight in a hotel located in the heart of the capital. Distance: about 40 km, about 50 min driving time Day 2 Free day in Amman to explore Downtown on your own. You may visit Amman Citadel, Roman Theatre, Bazaar, King Hussein Grand Mosque, the Duke’s Diwan – the oldest residence in Amman, Darat Al Funun (Home of Artists), try delicious sweets from local bakeries (Um Habibah is very recommended) J, enjoy a beautiful view over Amman from Wild Jordan café. It is strongly recommended to take a walk along Rainbow Street & to enjoy the atmosphere of oriental bazaar. Excellent handmade souvenirs maybe found in «The Jordan River Foundation shop», located in this street or others. Pillowcases with traditional ornaments, rags, bed covers, tablecloths, pretty dolls, baskets – there is a big choice of presents up to all tastes. Amman - Do & See There is a surprising lot to do in the Jordanian capital, from remnants of Roman (and even pre-Roman), Byzantine and Umayyad presence, to a couple of well-regarded galleries and cultural centres showcasing what Amman's – very much alive – cultural scene has to offer. Throw in cheap, delicious dining and a plethora of bargain shopping opportunities, and you'll be set for an eventful few days.

Ajloun

Day 3-4
To the North of Jordan! Today you will go to see one of the cities of Great Decapolis - Jerash, with its noble Colonnade Street, Oval Plaza, splendid triumphal Arch of Hadrian and several temples. A walk through Jerash is a journey in time. You will enter in through the South Gates, as well as its inhabitants did hundreds of years ago! Jerash is considered to be one of the best preserved Greco-Roman cities in the Middle East. Continue to the village of Ajloun to visit its famous fortress up on the hill and to enjoy the magnificent view to the Jordan Valley. After long but very impressive day, you will finally arrive to a quiet place - Ajloun Lodge, located deep in Ajloun Forest. Overnight in Ajloun Forest Lodge by RSCN (Royal Society for the Conservation of Nature): The Ajloun Forest Lodge occupies a large grassy clearing, enclosed by trees, and offers beautiful views of the reserve and as far as Jebel Sheikh in Lebanon. Distance: about 72 km, about 1,5 hr driving time

Dead Sea

Day 4-5
Floating Experience After breakfast, you may hike on your own in the Forest taking Roe Deer trail (1 – 1,5 hrs) or take a guided trail. Continue to Mount Nebo, with its spectacular view of the Holy Land. Beside Mt. Nebo there’s La Storia Museum – a new Museum telling the story of the region by mechanically moving figures. Proceed to Dead Sea for free time for swimming and overnight. The lowest point on Earth, this site may be devoid of plant and animal life, but it is blessed with amazing healing powers. With its oxygen-rich air, water composition, mineral black mud and hot springs, the Dead Sea is a heaven from which visitors emerge relaxed and rejuvenated. The air on that area is rich with nitrogen & therefore strengthens the immune system.

Dana

Day 5-6
To the South! You may still float at Dead Sea for some time before check-out. Driving to the South you will see just breathtaking and so different landscapes! After visiting Kerak, the medieval Crusaders castle, you will finally arrive to Dana for overnight. Dana is Jordan's largest nature reserve, covering some 320 square kilometers of spectacular mountains and wadis along the face of the Great Rift Valley. From scorching sand dunes in the west to cool mountain tops in the east, the Dana Biosphere Reserve is a home to a great variety of wildlife. Distance: about 230 km, about 4 hrs driving time

Seven Wonders Luxury Camp

Day 6-7
To the South! You may still float at Dead Sea for some time before check-out. Driving to the South, you will see just breathtaking and so different landscapes! After visiting Kerak, the medieval Crusaders castle, you will finally arrive to Dana for overnight. Dana is Jordan's largest nature reserve, covering some 320 square kilometers of spectacular mountains and wadis along the face of the Great Rift Valley. From scorching sand dunes in the west to cool mountain tops in the east, the Dana Biosphere Reserve is a home to a great variety of wildlife. Distance: about 230 km, about 4 hrs driving time.

Wadi Musa

Day 7-9
After breakfast, we go hiking with a local Bedouin guide from Little Petra to Petra's City Centre by a secret Nabatean route. It is a moderate hike (3 – 3,5 hrs) up in the mountains with the most panoramic breathtaking view of Wadi Araba. It starts from Little Petra and leads to the Monastery (Al Deir) from where you can see the highest mountain called Jabal Haroon. Continue down to the city center where you can see temples, tombs, Colonnade Street, Roman Museum, Treasury, then walk via Siq Canyon to the Visitor's Centre and to your hotel for rest and overnight in a hotel. (Note: in total it will be 5-6 hrs on feet. Important: no hight fear is required) Free Day in Petra Free day to visit Petra on your own (you may hire a guide from the Visitor's Center). This city is the treasure of ancient world, hidden behind an almost impenetrable barrier of rugged mountains, boasting incomparable scenes that make it the most majestic and imposing ancient site still-standing nowadays. Petra is considered the most famous and gorgeous site in Jordan. It is the legacy of the Nabataeans, an industrious Arab people who settled in southern Jordan more than 2000 years ago. Admired then for its refined culture, massive architecture and ingenious complex of dams and water channels, Petra is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of The New 7 Wonders of the World that enchants visitors from all corners of the globe.

Bedouin Camp

Day 9-10
Bedouin Experience You may visit Petra again and say goodbye to this magical ancient city before you continue to vast, silent and beautiful Wadi Rum to for 4 hrs private jeep-tour with a local Bedouin driver, dinner & overnight in a traditional Bedouin camp. Distance: about 105 km, about 2 hr driving time

Aqaba

Day 10-13
To the Red Sea! You may take some optional activities as hiking or camel ride. Continue to Aqaba for free time in sunny Aqaba at the Red Sea and overnight in a hotel. Local restaurants and variety of traditional oriental shops of Aqaba will be glad to welcome you. (You may book diving / snorkeling directly at the Reception of your hotel. Please be sure that your insurance cover such kind of activities) Sun & Fun! Free day in Aqaba. Here you have a huge choice of entertainments: fishing, windsurfing, swimming, diving, water bikes, boat cruises. The average of annual temperature of water in the Gulf of Aqaba allows enjoying bathing & diving all year around. Local restaurants and variety of traditional oriental shops of Aqaba will be glad to welcome you. Another free day in Aqaba Aqaba's greatest asset is the Red Sea itself. Here you can experience some of the best snorkeling and diving in the world. The temperate climate and gentle water currents have created a perfect environment for the growth of corals and a teeming plethora of marine life. Here you can swim with friendly sea turtles and dolphins as they dart amongst the schools of multicolored fish. Night dives reveal the nocturnal sea creatures, crabs, lobsters and shrimp, as they search for a midnight snack. There are several dive centers in Aqaba. All offer well-maintained diving equipment, professional instructors, and transport by boat to a variety of dive sites.

Madaba

Day 13-14
Mosaic City Continue to the final destination of your trip - Madaba , a "mosaic city" for free evening and overnight. You may visit Archaeological Park of Madaba and tiny St. George's Church with its famous mosaic floor map of Holy Land dd by the 5th c. Madaba is a small quiet town where you can have a pleasant evening walk. Everything in Madaba is in a walking distance, so don’t be afraid to be lost. Numerous shops can offer you souvenirs with very attractive prices.

Amman

Day 14
Goodbye! Sorry to say, your trip is over and after few hours you will leave Jordan… You have to be at the Airport 3 hrs before your flight departure for flight check-in. Thanks for joining and have a save trip home.
