Cancún
Day 1-2
Next up is Cancún – which has been chosen as one of the best travel destinations. It gives us another day of enoying Carribean beaches and weather. Cancún is also known for its many bars and clubs which calls for a girl's night out.
2
Isla Mujeres
Day 2-4
Isla mujeres is easy to reach from Playa del Carmen and is a must-see in Mexico. It's famous for its breathtaking beaches and its stunning underwater life. No matter if snorkelling, scuba diving - you name it - Isla mujeres got you covered!
3
Holbox Island
Day 4-6
Next up is Holbox Island – Potentially even better than Isla Mujeres. It's a bit more laid back and raw. We can go snorkelling with whale sharks or relax on the beach. Another special thing to do on Holbox island is witnessing the Bioluminescent Water during the night out snorkelling or kayaking.
4
The Coloradas
Day 6-7
The Coloradas is potentially one of the most beautiful lakes in the world – It shimmers in bright pink colors and makes a beautiful contrast to the white sandy riverbank. Let's not miss out on this unique experience.
5
Valladolid
Day 7-8
Valladoild is a small town in the Eastern part of Yucatan. We use it as a base to visit our first cenote on our itinerary. The suytun cenote – a cenote is "a natural pit, or sinkhole, resulting from the collapse of limestone bedrock that exposes groundwater." (Wikipedia)
6
Cenote Suytun
Day 8
The cenote suytun is a short distance away from Valladolid and one of the most beautiful and popular cenotes in Mexico. Let's take a look and a swim in this natural wonder – no Mexico trip is complete without a visit to a Cenote.

Chichén-Itzá
Day 8
It's time for some culture! And a throwback in history. The Chichen-Itza ruins are one of the seven world wonders. They originate from the late Maya time and is well over 1500 years old. Let us explore the mystery of ancient times.
8
Mérida
Day 8-10
Merida is the capital and also biggest city of the Yucatan peninsula. It has a lot to offer on the cultural side of things. We have enough time to stroll through the streets, enjoy the colorful houses and visit cultural sites and museums.
9
Campeche
Day 10-11
Campeche is a bit smaller than Merida and wins its visitors over with its charming houses. It is a former Colonial city that still reflects in the present city's architecture. Let us visit the main sights like Plaza de la Independencia or the cathedral and make some beautiful pictures and memories on the way.
10
Bacalar Lagoon
Day 11-12
The Bacalar Lagoon is also known as the "Maledives of Mexico". And the nickname does it justice. We take time here to relax and enjoy the beach and Mexican sun. Bacalar Lagoon should definitely not miss on any Mexico itinerary.
11
Tulum
Day 12-14
Our last stop of our trip brings us back futher South. Tulum is another beautiful spot in Mexico that is famous for its stunning beaches, great food, its cocktails and cenotes. Some people also call it the Bali of Mexico.
12
Gran Cenote
Day 14
The Gran Cenote is probably the most famous and most visited Cenote of Mexico. It's easy to reach from Tulum and by bike only takes 30min (if we want to change our mode of transport up a bit). Who wants to take a dip into this beautiful natural watersinkhole?
