Guided trip
Hello everyone! πŸ‘‹ I am Zadock, 22 years old, outgoing like to have fun with friends. I recently finished my bachelor's in Hospitality and Tourism Management at the University of Nairobi. Has Zanzibar ever been on your bucket list at any time? Are you an adrenaline junkie? Do you find partying and traveling to be something you want to do? Have you experienced the Swahili culture on the perfect coastlines? If your answer is yes or no, this is your perfect opportunity to get to experience wild fun while doing many activities across the coastal city like a local. Steeped in culture and history, Zanzibar is fondly known as the β€˜Spice Island’ due to the variety of spices grown here. Stone Town, a World Heritage Site, boasts bustling marketplaces, beautifully carved wooden doors, mosques, and grand Arab residences. The combination of Arabic and African cultures on this island lends itself to the simple bustle of everyday life. A relaxed atmosphere exudes, and you’ll find it a great place to unwind. At low tide, you can watch men going out to fish and women cultivating seaweed. At high tide, children are busy playing and running on the beach. My travel plan is open to suggestions from my trip mates and I don't mind sharing rooms as long as we all get the chance to have an experience of a lifetime. Some highlights are: swimming with turtles 🐒, a spice tour πŸ₯˜, a visit to the prison island, and more. I have planned routes and accommodation where we will get an apartment and share in Nungwi and Stone Town. Car hire and activities will be paid on site. The Price includes πŸ’° πŸš— Kilimanjaro international airport pick-up service. πŸ’§ Bottled mineral water πŸš— Diesel ⛴️ Drop off at Ferry in Dar es Salaam πŸ“ Stone town tour πŸ—ΊοΈ Spice tour πŸ›οΈ Accommodation πŸš— Airport drop in Zanzibar What's not included ❌ -Meals (Youll have to pay for your own meals ) See you soon. Don't miss the FULL MOON PARTY 😊. Write me a message if interested!

Trip Itinerary
1

Nungwi

Day 1-2
Nungwi will be our main base due to our boat activities. On the first day, I will pick you up from the airport and I will get you to your new home for the upcoming 4 days. During the first day, we will explore Nungwi and enjoy its sunset near the beach. You will learn and see everything you need to know about Nungwi and prepare for tomorrow's journey
2

Baraka Natural Aquarium - Nungwi

Day 2-3
In the north of Zanzibar, you can find one of the natural lagoons full of sea turtles. In Baraka Aquarium they are buying the turtles, caught by fishermen and they are releasing them back into the fresh ocean water in the lagoon. here we will get an opportunity to swim with the turtles and even feed them.
3

Mnemba Island

Day 3
Mnemba Island, a small island laying off the northeastern coast of Zanzibar, is partially edged by a shallow coral reef. Listed as a marine reserve, it is the most popular snorkeling spot in Zanzibar. Moorish idols, palette surgeonfish, snappers, and anemonefish are easy to spot at this location, above a colorful, pretty display of corals. Here we will do reef snorkeling. Overnight in Nungwi.
4

Nungwi Beach

Day 3-4
Visit Nungwi beach and enjoy water sports activities such as boat riding, and relaxing in the beach where afterward we will take a short ride with daladalas (bus) to Kendwa Beach for a full moon party. This is a very popular party held almost every month in the open kendwa beaches
5

Stone Town

Day 4-5
Transfer to Stone Town. Visit Prison Island. Although it has never been an actual prison, the island has played different roles throughout history: from the place where slaves were kept until they were sent away, to a coal mine, to a quarantine station for yellow fever. Today, the buildings are used as a hotel and restaurants, offering tourists the chance to stay here and visit the former cells. Moreover, the trip from and to the island is very nice and you can enjoy both the panoramic view of the island and of Stone Town.
6

Kendwa Beach Park

Day 5
The Full Moon Party is organized around the full moon every month (usually on a Saturday, but not necessarily). Attracting a large crowd of locals and international tourists and travelers, the Full Moon Party offers a delicious grill, amazing acrobats, entertainment, and great live music to keep you dancing all night.
7

Jozani Forest Tour

Day 5-6
Visit Jozani Forest. Visit East Coast beaches – Jambiani, Paje & Michamvi. Evening dinner at The Rock Restaurant. we will Dine as we enjoy the beautiful sea view and the cool ocean breeze. Overnight at Stone Town.
8

Stone Town

Day 6-7
Go for Spice Tour and enjoy street shopping. World-renowned for its aromatic spices, this once significant trading hub is a fragrant historical treasure trove of vanilla, cloves, turmeric, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Thrown into this heady mix are areas where a variety of intriguing plants and shrubs including the iodine plant and the red fruit of the lipstick tree are grown for medicinal purposes and cosmetics. Overnight at Stone Town or catch your return flight
