My cover image depicts the ancient Filipino script known as "Babaylan". The accompanying photo of myself points toward the hotel mural showcasing an old "Igorot" indigenous couple dressed in traditional clothing and clearly amused by modern iphone technology. Behind me is a mural representation of the UNESCO world heritage recognized ancient "Rice Terraces" that the Igorot indigenous inhabitants of the Philippines is known for. Photos that follow (L to R) show Taal Volcano lake, w/in another volcano, w/in another lake, one of the many waterfalls of Tanay province, the ancient Hanging Coffins among the limestone rock formations of Sagada Mt. Province, one of many explorable cave networks of the many in the Philippines, and finally, one of many fine sand beaches dotting our 18,000 km. coastline and 266,000 sq. kms. coastal waters.
